Pixel CNC Review & Simple Import Project. What is it? How much does it cost? Lets make a project! & Who is this for?
In our simple project we will be importing a Grey Scaled Raster Image and A Vector File to do a relief carve & cut out.
This CAD/CAM offers a ton of features, from cut paths optons, to really unique design creation, and a modern gui look and feel.

Hi @D.E.Hammer! I'm a fellow LM MK2 CNCer :). Been enjoying your videos, particularly getting into your Cast Acrylic workings :). Thanks for sharing your thoughts on PixelCNC! Could be a viable option for me for when I don't need or have time for the more complex operations of Fusion360.

@@D.E.HammerI did try the trial, I liked it I thought the creation tools were easy to use once I got my head around how it worked. I think it is pretty clever.

No issues working with the longmill vertically?

The only vertical ones I have seen are when they are storing them, not running them. I saw some videos where Sienci Labs ran some tests that way, but have not seen one out in the wild running that way.

Thank You, check out Cadence Manufacturing. He makes the Jenny bits right here in the US. My favorite are the downcut v bits.

Great video!! I was wondering if you had any idea if the software has a post processor that supports the Onefinity Woodworker with the Buildbotics controller?

So as of right now it has Easel, Grbl, LinuxCNC, Mach3, Marlin, RichAuto, & UCCNC. Not sure if any of those will work for you, but if you email support@deftware.org they can get an answer for you or help get one written.

I heard back from them and the answer was" There is not currently a post-processor for the Onefinity controller but one of the existing ones might work already" I gave them a sample of some G-code. Will let you know the results.

FYI - Charlie built a post-processor for the buildbotics post processer and I have been testing it this week. Works like a charm

@ottobrill yes season 3 of Picard was its best season, it was great seeing the crew back together.
