had to go to another video to determine that my headphones weren't fu(ked up... if you listen to this video with a stereo or stereo headset then you will know what i mean when i say "This video is totally one sided"
I'm using CS5, but I can't seem to make my 2D image turn 3D - I keep getting told I need a layer mask, but I can't make a Layer Mask (the option is greyed out). What do I do?
its really annoying that all your videos audio only plays in the left speaker please hone input for your videos for now on, other than that your videos are great :-)

Awsome video dude, but i have one question. When i click on Create 3D it says : "Could not complete your request because the path is too complex." So do you have any idea how to fix that? Im using Windows 7 btw.
I've been using Photoshop for a LONG time... and I have to say I've learned something new from this. Well done!!! This is a great technique that I haven't thought of using before.
How would you do this for as an example a dog or person an perhaps an inanimate object such as a Terminator Robot? Wouldn't the extruding just make it appear fat?

What approach could I take for making a 2D screenshot of an application window on the computer, and making it 3D? So like any Mac folder Window, or a Windows 7 folder?
Trust me I couldn't do this if it were not for people like u showing, but I'm surprised at around 14:55'ish you didn't try to skew the "copy" of the lizard and float. The part that shows under water you could maybe skew left to give the distortion of under water. Question tho couldn't that layer be Masked with Difference Cloud even give under water shadows effect to that same layer?

Not going to lie I had a mini heart attack when I hit play. I have been have a ton of hearing issues with my right ear for the past few months and when I did not hear any audio on that side I freaked out a little. Then I realized that it was probably the video and read the comment section. XD
this is a great video you are very skilled with photo shop and i am very jealous. I am personally trying to make a 3-d object like your life belt, and animate it into a video, if you know how to do that that would be an excellent video.
sorry for my bad typing i wanted to make a five nights at freddys photshop video for my friend it takes a lot of persistence and overview to make a video in photoshop it can take 2 hours to make a 10 second animation , you also need to have a plan in mind how long will your video be
