This is a wonderful, simple chart for illustrating fictional timelines. There are a handful of other things I've seen that are paid-for products or subscriptions, but all I needed was a chart and this was perfect.

Could be an issue with the version of Excel that you are using, or one of those "I have no idea" kinds of things. I haven't had anyone else reporting that problem with regard to this spreadsheet.
