Isn't this Rainbow Mandala just so pretty all top dotted with Gold. This Tutorial will show you step by step how I made it so you can give it a try too! Thank you so much! I can remember years ago watching Rachel's Rocks and just marveling at her talent with the brush! I remember thinking.. I'm going to just start practicing! I truly enjoy your tutorials! Just curious, for us newbies...would you ever consider doing a video on your paint storage methods? i.e. how do you organize your paints...by type (all surface/metallics/standard acrylic etc) then by color?....Is it better to store the bottles standing upright or upside down?...etc

Thank you ♥️ I’m not quite an expert on storage… but! I say store them like the store does. I figure they do it that way for a reason. I store mine horizontally because when they settle it’s easier to shake up. 😂 I’m not sure it matters. You might look up temperature though.

Thank you ♥️ I list the paints I used in the description. I think these are all DecoArt except for blue. I’m not sure I recall without looking. If I mix a medium with the paints I will show it in the video. I use to thin paints with water but I got a lot of comments saying I shouldn’t. I never had a problem with water at all. But.. I decided to go learn a bit about the paint and see what I should be using. Water is actually fine as long as you don’t add too much. However, I found paint additives and mediums to add that really help and no one complains, LOL. I’ve been using Liquitex flow aid additive. You mix it with water then you add drops to your paint. I don’t recall if I used it or not in this painting. I’d have to rewatch the video. I do find that DecoArt is often great consistency right out of the bottle.

Omg Mary you are so very right. It’s a 2mm. I’ll add a correction in the description. When I was editing I must have just seen the blue rod and went with it. The 5mm is a turquoise color. Gosh, Thank you ♥️ never apologize. I need all the help I can get 😂😂 I truly Thank you ♥️

Stunning design, but so sorry…I liked it better before all the gold. The gold overpowers the piece IMO. Different strokes for different folks!

Oh no sorries needed… I loved it too! I even took it next door at mid point and showed my mom I liked it so much. Wouldn’t it have been pretty if I’d just gone back with the gold to do the detail work and a few embellishments? So… if you follow the tutorial you’ll know right where to stop 🤗 That’s what I love about this art… there’s 2 tutorials in one on most of my art 😂 I’m so glad you like the design and color.
