I think the Shape Builder tool has been a part of Illustrator since before CC, so great even for those not all the way updated!

Just what I needed. Long time user of Adobe products but for some reason, never got deep into Illustrator, and I'm a traditional illustrator!!! I guess it just depends on what you're doing most of the time. For me, it's been heavy retouching with PS and now UI design with Sketch. I now have to dive back into Illustrator and found my old skills seriously lacking, so this was perfect. Love your tuts. Thanks.

Gosh, it was amazing! Let me tell you, you are a prefect teacher! You must know I never used AI before! Today I looked for an AI tutorial (it was not for purpose that I picked out this one, I just wanted to start to learn something in AI) well I watched the first half of the video and after it I stopped and started to do it all on my own.. and it worked! I didn't even had to peek into the video! So a big thank you!!

Trust me it was easy and fun! I bet it's hard to teach like this, but you are on a good way.. And for me it wasn't bad thing that the video is not just 5 minute long.. I can imagine that for somebody can who already handle AI it's slower, but you know what? I work with PS for 14 years now (learned as autodidact) but if I watch a video today - for example one of yours - I'm sure I can learn new things from every single video. So, maybe its slower a bit for somebody, but if they take the time to watch the whole video, maybe they learn something new, maybe an easier way to do something. (hope you can understand, sorry my English is poor)
