I have had my Ocean Machine for four years and this is the first time I saw a full demo of the looper, reverse, half speed and sequencer so well. Thank you so much for making this.
Thank you very much indeed 🙏 usually it takes hours to create just one sound, in this clip the sounds are simply examples just to show what you can do with the looper section 🙏
Even it's an older video, still one of the best ones. Most musicians not even know what they are missing without an Ocean Machine. For the price it's a must have pedal. Btw. Even just with an MP3 player attached you can create incredible sound scapes.
I could bathe in Step 10. This pedal looks amazing and is so versatile with the chain ordering feature. I have plenty of delay and reverb pedals but this thing is triggering my G.A.S.
thinking about getting one. I love Devin Townsend and ambient music. I already have a Line 6 Helix, but the Ocean Machine could add more sounds and free up DSP on the Helix. I like that it has a looper too. That way I can have a looper on the Ocean Machine and another one on the Helix.
Hello from Kansas City, Missouri Perry. Beautiful Ambient Guitar all from one pedal. Although for Ambient Guitar or Keyboard I can't do without the Chorale and Shimmer on the Strymon Big Sky. Best Chorale and Shimmer on any pedal in my humble opinion. Thanks.
When it comes to completing the first ambient rig, what would you prefer - starting with multieffect like Mooer or trying to get delay, reverb and looper separately? At first I was into Mooer, then I changed my mind for Walrus SLO + Ditto, and now... Im still confused :D
It depends on your budget man. I always prefer separate pedals, but Ocean Machine is like three separate pedals in one, as you can see you can even change the signal chain. It's a very good value for money.
Being somewhat of a reverb snob, can you comment on the reverb quality/texture? As opposed to something like a Meris Mercury 7 ?. . Thanks. . .nice composition btw, excellent playing.
Mercury 7 is better, but it's another level. You can compare a Meris with a Strymon, that's the right range. I mean you can't compare different range pedals. By the way Ocean Machine is unique, there's no other pedal with all these functions and effects at that price.
Well done. Half speed and reverse, these are two funcions together with feedback that might not miss in any looper. Is there a way to have feedback control in the Ocean Machine looper?
@@PerryFrank I think what Gaetano means is are you able to control the decay rate of the loops themselves much like a “sound on sound” function or does each loop stay static? My question: what about the volume build up with each successive layer added if the the layers remain volume constant?
