I already paint 2D digitally using Procreate and sculpt 3D digitally using Nomad Sculpt, but today is the very first time (I'm in my late 60s) for me to explore creative AR possibilities with Reality Composer. Your video has helped me greatly. A very useful introduction. Thank you!
Thanks. I will watch all of your videos. Very useful. And thank u sooooo much. As I have also created this same for my sister's birthday. Thank u soo much again.
Thank you! Yes they need an iPhone or iPad to view the file in AR. There are ways to make it compatible with Android but that would require a WebAR solution where a glTF or GLB file would be displayed for Android users. Hope that helps!! Best, Ryan
This is super amazing and clearly understood. Going to give this a go. I was using HP Reveal, but they've removed it. I use AR in education, so I hope this will do something similar to that. If not, any ideas would be welcome.
Bro really loved your videos. I was just looking forward to learn making AR apps with latest RealityKit framework and this is where my search ends. Thanks for all the super clean explanations. Would love to see more of them.
Ryan Kopinsky Yeah , actually i want to learn all the new features of ARKIT 3/4. Like, starting with, real world object occlusion with our 3d AR objects. I can’t find this anywhere on the net. So it’d be really helpful if you make a tutorial on object occlusion. ☺️
Came across this video and absolutely love the content. I’m trying to learn how to develop real life furniture items into 3D so that they can be incorporated into AR or VR. Would love some guidance from you or your community!!
Many thanks Ryan, and for responding to my query last week...and your thots about possibility of Apple having AR clouds to share...keep up the great work and again thank you your mentoring.
i am new to the world of AR. after watching a lot of videos. I understand that you need a target image to activate your reality experience video. in your tutorial you send the experience video to a friend (without target image i think). can I then assume that you are actually sending a 3D video, if there is no target image (thx 4the vid)
Thank you! I never ended up creating a follow up because not a lot of people seemed interested. If you'd like to create universal AR experiences, Vectary is pretty good tool for that. They also allow you to export your work to many 3D formats! Best, Ryan
Do you also have systems that work on Android devices or non apple devices? I did subscribe and I do want to know how to use with link that people can access from a computer or website
Hi Olivier, the demand was low for a follow up so didn’t end up creating a video. However, if you’d like to create AR for both iOS and Android, Vectary is a pretty cool tool for that. Best, Ryan
Hey Adil, Glad you like it! I'm not too familiar with Android AR but in the past I've used www.vectary.com to make AR content that is cross platform. Hope that helps! Best, Ryan
Hi Ryan, I used Reality Composer made a model, but it notices that can't open the object when I sent it to others and others can't open it. I don't know what's wrong, could you please help me? thank you :)
hey Ryan, thanks for your amazing video, but I am curious how to place AR experiences at a specific point in the world. I mean how to make users to see something that I already settled content when they arrived at the specific point? Thank you so much in advance! :)
Hey Anna, Reality Composer is only available for Apple devices. If you’d like to create an AR experience for Android, I would recommend using Vectary. Best, Ryan
Welcome and thank you for subscribing! If you’d like to learn AR with coding, I have just the course for you: ru-vid.com/group/PLBv1NzmBcY51F-pdOIywpndccaB21NTid Best, Ryan
Hi Ryan, I really appreciate your video, thank you so much! I want to ask a question - I sent the .reality file to someone using Dropbox, but they can’t open it on their IPad. Their iPad is only just over a year old. Do you think they need perhaps iOS 13 or 14 to view it? Or to down load an AR viewer app? Thanks in advance for yr help.
It's great experience. I have one doubt. I watched reality composer videos a lot but I don't know how to add some button to interact. Is it possible to add one button on the interface so that when I tap on that button, I wanna change from one scene to another scene.
Hi, I’m trying to get a .Reality File to play from a webpage but despite the single line of HTML code with the anchor tag with ref=“ar” and linked to the file, it won’t play in quicklook. Can somebody help ?
Great question, Marijke! All they need is an iPhone or iPad. As long as you export it as a .reality file, the phone or tablet will know how to open it. Hope that answers your question :) Best, Ryan
Ryan Kopinsky I took a class about 3Ds Max! It’s so complex but complete! But I’m a mac guy, so maybe i’ll try blender 3D... mmm I want to create 3d models for a ecommerce i’m working on, so I think it’d be an awesome experience to see these products in AR
Hey Random Question I’m using Reality Composer too to build an app where I want to use different AR Markers (image anchor) to display different thing But when I use different image anchors for different scenes my app crashes When I stick to one image anchor for all scenes It runs ok? Is that normal?
@@realityschool I would like to import some new 3D items, is there an open source location where I can add preñada objects to my library? There are cool objects that only appear on my iPhone but not my iPad, I’d like to add some to my iPad. 🙂
You can download USDZ assets from usdzshare.com. You can also download assets from Sketchfab. Many are free, some are paid. Make sure to check that the format is .USDZ. Once you download the asset, you can save it to your iCloud Drive. Once it’s in iCloud Drive you can go into Reality Composer, click on the + (add) icon, and select import. From there you can navigate to your iCloud Drive and select the USDZ asset. Hope that helps 👍🏼
