One of the many benefits of the desktop is launching programs and folders through icons which, technically, are simple shortcuts. However, not everyone knows that from Windows 8 it is also possible to add shortcuts to apps.
Through the path specified in the Windows Blog Italia article, it is possible to go back to the folder containing all the installed applications, also there are the icons of the desktop programs and the system settings.
At this point, to have them on the desktop, you carry out the classic drag and drop or click on the "Create link" item in the context menu.

THE BOOK ON RU-vid:
After more than seven years of activity, I found it right to collect my experiences on RU-vid through a book. It is aimed at those who are starting a journey on this platform or are already doing so and in both cases want some sort of support. It is not a text focused on the technical aspect, like a manual, but it is more in the form of a diary.
