Loved this tutorial mate, the gold nugget was how you manipulated the bottom middle note to add more flavour and also identifying that the 'top notes' are really the melody... and as I thought about that from a punter's perspective rather than a producer/DJ perspective, you're right. It's those top notes that I would 'air poke' with my hands when dancing or floating on the dance floor :)

Basically do what you think is necessary. A bit of EQ, maybe if you need to make the high frequencies sparkle a little bit, or a bit of the high-mids. Or a bit of compression if you want to make the delay shine a bit more, but also heavily sidechain the low frequencies (depending on what other elements you have playing) to get out of kick and bass and only gently sidechain the rest...saturation is great too and Chorus/Flanger or Phaser to add character to the sound.
