the next step is learn how to use circle and square to create/draw the object you want. Ellipse tool is going to be your next best friend :) If I have enough time, I might show how to make those animal logos using just circles.
sorry....i didn't really explain what are those green dots and why they're there. I basically used those dots as guides (think of it as a template). I didn't want to trace or keep looking back & forth at the pic.
