Create Mod Tree Farm & Furnace Engine - Minecraft Tutorial 

A quick tip for everyone playing with modpacks: If you have Immersive Engineering installed you can use the external heater to power furnaces without having to smelt something (applying a redstone signal to the heater makes it heat furnaces without anything in them)! You can then use these furnaces with the furnace engine. This means you can create tons of Create power (SUs) with RF.

you can also use the extra power to make another farm to make bonemeal with composters

For the redstone clock: Run an adjustable repeater into a block that has a redstone torch on the side. Connect the redstone torch to the adj. repeater and into the gearshift. Put the repeater on 10s and voila you got the same clock but much cheaper

I have one of these for every tree type! And I'm playing with biomes o'plenty.

You can split the logs to get the excess into a separate chest. To do this, you have to add another transposer (or an extractor if you want to) and set its filter to * (split mode). Do the same with the original log transposer. You can also put the items through a belt and split them with belt observers; it gives you more control, but its less compact.

Since "Create Mod" is still a mistery to me im very thankful for your videos. Keep up the good work and tc.

I build a version of this using botania and create, it's powered by a windmill.

Awesome video illustrating how indepentant this mod pack really is. If you do have botany mod you can simplify this and just pull the charcoal out. This was what I did in my case as I only needed a furnace engine power

Hi monkeyfarm it would be really helpful if you listed the blocks needed before hand so it would be easy to make in survival

the transponders and servers altered tick speed had me working on this for hours i finally had it working with normal repeaters and pushing the tree farm back a few blocks , throwing in another funnel and adding in a mechanical belt buts it churns out plenty of power so ty

You can make a timer so that the hopper on top of the furnace only input a log in 1m 20s. That makes the furnace run at full time and no excess charcoal.

i don't have anything called a "transposer" when i play in 1.16.4

You could also make the gearshift turn on when the sapling grows into tree, by adding a repeater that pushes into the redstone link.

you can compost part of the tree for bonemeal

you can substitute the redstone clock and toggle switch for an observer and a toggle switch, the observer sends a pulse, toggle maintains it, and the observer sends another one when the tree falls etc etc

And if you use oak trees, you can have infinite apples. Which you could then connect to a gold farm for infinite golden apples.

Wouldn't it be quicker if you use a dispenser with a fast ticking clock and feed bonemeal into it (Also it would save a bit of energy, not much but every bit helps)

Ahhh a tree!!! I forgot they give charcoal XD I actually use kelp instead for my self-powered furnace damn my design is a lot more expensive XD

For some some reason i don't have the transposer thing weather i use /give or creative menu, also on 1.16.5 but if i go to older version there's no crate

Forever....until you run out of bonemeal. I bet there's a way to do this with Create's Tree Fertilizer and automate the creation of that.

I build mine with a extra potato farm powerd by a fan with a campfire... the potatoes go into the smoker but also into a composter for Bone meal. I set up the funnel so they go round robbin (1 in furnace then 1 in composter... and so on)

Since the mechanical sticky piston is only moving one block, couldn't you use a regular sticky piston in place of it?

What if you use the excess saplings and input them into a composter to at least help out the bonemeal situation?

Hmm. Is there a way to send a Redstone signal from the furnace when its full of logs to divert the logs into deep storage? Edit... I just had a eureka moment. On the storage you have a output brass funnel that spits out a stack of logs at a time as overflow so when you are overproduction charcoal the extra logs get diverted. Same for the other items as well. The extra coal can go to other areas needed in stacks, the extra saplings/apples go to compost for bone meal and extra apples from that go to a honey apple machine.

Do you need the pistons moving the saw? It doesn't break the sapling and I can't think of why else you'd retract it. For that matter I thought you would use a block detector to activate the piston in the first place. Love the content.

What would you use for replacing the crates that the Dev's took out on a whim?

I'm playing on Valhelsia 3 which includes the latest Create mod. I am trying to figure out how to make a tree farm as transposers arent included in the pack. whether this is a mistake or not I don't know but it's really bugging me.

is it ok to put a speed controller to the machine to make the operation faster?

Does the saw really need to move back and forth? It seems like it could do its job even if it's not moving at all...

not sure if this is a good idea or not or even if it would work but could you use an observer to check and see if the tree has grown and when it is send the mechanical saw to the tree then when the tree is gone it sends it back in place

in abcense of the transposser I had to invent a system with a belt, a funnel, a depot and a mechanical arm... pretty complicated btw, I hope they add it again, or replace it real soon EDIT: No, it's impossible to do it properly in 0.3 without the transposser. The Portable Storage Interface only works with MOBILE machines (i don't know why the hell they did it like that, It's complicated as it).
