Still perfect for any async clock based farms in Minecraft 1.21. At a hopper transfer rate of 2.5 items/second, this is a 8 seconds on / 24 seconds off clock. Easy to calculate and adjust based on your needs. Amazing design man! ❤

Just built this in survival 1.21, I followed these videos when they were coming out but never had the discipline to finish the build. Some things I changed: Obviously dispensers with water buckets instead of pistons. On spawning pads, instead of having slabs placed on top (disrupts flow of water in center), I used bottom half slabs within the pad. So instead of having slabs bulging on top of the pads, they now make indents in the pads. Prevents spider spawns and doesn't screw with the water flow. I just did a single vertical wire up the entire spawners corner, then wired each dispenser from the corner using redstone and repeaters. Some of the old redstone conventions don't work anymore and I just couldn't figure it out. Still works great! Fairly high spawn rates.
The concept works... but I think the 'smart piston' has changed since then. So just use the new method of smart piston on the top, and everything else will work with it.
Don’t mean to necro the comment section, but I remember watching you on the hermit craft server building the skull base when I was first getting into gaming and you crossed my mind today so I looked up the channel and it’s been a while since you uploaded. Oh my god I finally found ya. All I had to work with was my memory of watching ya, your pfp having a hat and you playing with docm77. I used to watch ya play ftb with him. So glad to find the channel. All. I remember was that series just ended at one point. Was so sad back then. You were awesome!
so those transposer are not in my version any idea what i could do besides those and im made the same mining rig u did got it to finally work in single creative had some stuff i need to work on so find why mine was not working and i finally did but now i cant find a way to transfer items out of the chest.. playyin on deceased crafts modern zombie apocalypse
Your channel really holds a special place for me. I remember being 14 watching your videos and wish I was anywhere near as good as you were at building. I’m 26 now and over the last couple of years I always come back and rewatch them out of nostalgia. Hope you’re doing well.
