This is best movie I ever watched. It exposes me to different philosophical ideas. Great video of analyzing the film. Looking forward to the discussion and explanation of different episodes. There's much more to talk about each episodes. Thanks again for the great video. Great work.💯
beautiful interpretation of the movie. you even made me realize some aspects that I haven't noticed before. it feels like every time I watch the movie I learn something new or my own grown perspective enables me to view it in a new angle. for example when I first saw the movie I was like 13 years old and had no clue about lucid dreams or even gnosticism. now after watching it again after many years, the demiurge talking point hit me right in my guts and the power of now felt like an infinitely true mirror of my recent life experiences. the movie grew with me and I grew with the movie. this is way more than just a flick, it's like timeless art that transmits truth on several layers. quite astonishing and mind blowing really
Oh my God! One of my favourite movies ever. PERIOD! sad our socitey is onmajority on interested in the typical stuff, which is not bad, do not get me wrong. This move was simply another level!

I used to live around the corner from an independent film house that showed 1 movie for one week, Thursday through Wednesday. Me and and 2 of my friends would go every Thursday night to dinner at Sinclair’s next door and then to whatever was playing at The Capri. The night we saw Waking Life was truly exceptional.
amazing video essay !! this is by far my top 2 films - this and Before Sunrise. i was so ecstatic when i first watched this film and saw the characters from Before Sunrise also featured in it. thank you for the thought provoking analysis. which idea(s) will i use to get from no to yes 😌
I'm pretty sure he was dying. Because he got hit by a car. He even said he feels like he is being prepared for something and he is starting to think he is dead. All the conversations were a way of preparing his soul to let go of attachment to the idea of individual self existing in time and say yes to merging with God. Move on in a way. I don't think it was a dream. I think it was an experience his consciousness was having when he was teetering between life and death. He chose to accept death in the end.
Dream is destiny refers to the dreamer taking his waking life prowess into the simulation of his dream life-because if you can do that, you can do anything.
