Great tips. I really really hope they give more love to base building, more pieces, more freedom..especially with base size and restrictions over water. I hope this all gets fleshed out over time.

I hope one day theyll update the pals so that theyll use the furnitures, as well as add the ability to make the circle bigger instead of adding a new base.

Almost 70 hours and I did not know you could do this. I've been building my foundations far away on lower ground and hoping it lines up when I build to my desired location (It never does). This will be so helpful, thank you!

Love your work, love your advice. You are seriously one of only a handful of people even TALKING about decorations at all. Love to see how it keeps coming along, can’t wait to see what else you do with the rest of the house. I’ve seen the tavern counter and a bathtub, not sure what else is available.

Wow. And here i am living on busted looking hills and here you have an actual beautiful house. Thanks for the tips and advice. I haven't even gotten to the design building of Palworld. Maybe once I have my farms and bases secured and I hit level 50, I can start making my camp(s) looking like actual houses.

really like some of these ideas, cant wait to try some of them. some other ideas id like to try is to build raised platforms and put workstations on them, so if i want to disable them i can just destroy the stairs that lead up to them. and I saw someone build their staircase by stacking benches and i thought it looked amazing so i wanted to share. So much inspiration lol

Just some tios i figured out from my base and wanted to share, If you use a stone gate and put it close to a stone wall or stone defensive wall and open the doors, it looks like stone pillars and really changes the look. I think the flat stone walls without them look bland. I have found a few different ways to use them. Wooden gates kind of work with this too. You can build a second story deck on a house with the open stone gate technique, having 2 floors come out from the house, using the gate as deck pillars and using the decorative bar item as the front of the deck, it looks great. Also you can put Anubis statues inside stone defensive walls so it looks like its a carved into the wall. You can also put a campfire underneath/inside the statue so fire comes from its feet. You can also put a spool or whichever the large round item is under the Anubis statue to make it stand taller and have a larger profile for a center piece of the castle/town. Also you can put items inside the breeding pen if you are short for space, like small pal beds and small storage.

i was just watching another dude min-maxing stats by breeding pals and putting them to work to earn the most money (he was laughing maniacally too), and now i'm here watching this lady peacefully decorating and talking about how to achieve the best aesthetics in your base building, effectively playing the sims... also in palworld. this game really is for everyone.

another fun note. i learned about this lowering thing by accident when working on my base. putting foundations and stuff a bit in the ground helps the pals navigate your base without getting stuck it really helps with the pathing for more open bases with multiple buildings.

I based my stone house rebuild on your design hey!! I use to like build little science outposts for myself in Ark!! I was like once asked to build a church for some boys which I did but sadly Palworld does not have the ability to build like that.. at least yet!! Either way we both have a cute little house now :)

I love building little houses for the pals, basically making entire towns if you want which is awesome. The only thing is roofs can be tricky sometimes but so far it's a blast.

For layering foundation, I use wall and roof pieces to extend to where I want a foundation on a different vertical level that will look like it connects. Also worth using to build the height you want elsewhere, then snap build until it meets up with where you want it. Both methods need precise build placement though, and take a lot of time.

FYI you can build a “bridge” over water by using roof pieces. Takes some playing around with creating and dismantling wall pieces but the roof pieces can attach to the upper or lower sides of a wall piece. I am really hoping they allow better snapping in the full release of the game but that’s just a wishlist thing. Would rather them address pal pathing issues since 1/2 of your gameplay currently consist of building a base that the pals won’t constantly keep getting stuck on things. All things considered though, I am addicted to the game and can’t wait to see where they take it
