Dude, I have to give credit where credit is due. Excellent video. This video alone made me excited about Camtasia 2024. I haven't explored the new features yet. Definitely will be making some social media clips with it this weekend.
@@Graphicious 😀 True critics like you keep them engaged with some good tasks always. Kudos to you too. The beauty of Camtasia isn't in chasing Adobe products nor Microsoft but it should now continue to make editing easy >>easier >> easiest. ❤️ Love Camtasia.
Cristi, this is excellent work you've done explaining how the captions work in Camtasia 2024. In RU-vid videos one can submit a file of captions. So, how would one save the captions and offer them to RU-vid when one uploads a video. Many thanks for your advice that is appreciated.
Thank you! I’m afraid at this time, these captions cannot be exported, this was also one of my first questions when I saw this feature. Hoping the team at Techsmith implements that in the future. I think they might not be in a hurry to do it though because it would compete with Audiate too much. But who knows? Maybe they will keep an open mind. :)
@@Graphicious Cristi, Many thanks for your quick response. When I watched your video I did think that this development conflicts in a way with Audiate. So I believe your comment is valid and hopefully The guys at Techsmith might, one day, add the function we are all looking for.
@@Graphicious On Windows, AI is used to generate closed captions as well as the dynamic captions. If you go to the closed captions tab, select the gear icon and choose speech-to-text. This option will generate closed captions using the same AI speech to text as dynamic captions. When those are generated, you can go back to the gear icon and export an SRT file of the captions. If you add closed captions in Camtasia and then share to RU-vid through Camtasia's export option, the closed captions will be sent to RU-vid and added as closed captions. You can have both closed captions and dynamic captions on the same video if desired.
Have fun with it! I'm waiting for a little more editing abilities for the transcript itself. Oh and have you seen the visualisers? I feel sorry for not including those in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ETeLJMq3JAs.html
You mean the one at the beginning? It is an animated one I built for my titles and intros and I am superimposed with the camera and the background removed using green screen. I have a video on my channel about that.
