These principles are being taught by many biomechanics people especially for those who want distance. I remember people telling me for years "you sway too much" too much "slide" yet that's when I pl;ayed my best. of course I listened and got caught in a more rounded rotational swing that ruined me for years. Back to a measurable move toward the target, nice squat, then fire upwards as my arms thrust downwards. Beautiful feeling. Oh, and I'm 59. So anyone can do this.

When you look at and great player the center of the force clearly moves early towards the lead foot - what we have shows in some other videos that low handicappers have a maximum ground force on the lead foot while the lead arm is parallel to the ground coming down. So there is a very noticeable shift in force. And when you see a nice swing like Adam Scott it is very clear the center of the pelvis has moved multiple inches to towards the lead foot during the swing. So golf is very rotational and there is a very large shift to the lead side both in terms of foot pressure and absolute change in position of the center of mass of the body. We hope to do some more videos with pressure plates in the not to distant future to showcase this some more.

@4:17 you showed Will Zalatorious side bending himself into a severe back injury, forced time away from the game and a lengthy rehab. He may never reach his potential because of this, i.e. Matthew Wolfe.

Great observation - we all want to avoid injury, especially back issues. When you look at an Adam Scott swing I believe one of the things he does really well is tilt in his swing without bending the back. You want to have the spine maintain a neutral shape while there is rotation between the vertebrae so you avoid the injury - totally agree. I'm not aware of Adam having had any major back issues in all the years he has played and I think how to manages tilt via hip and pelvis motion and not bending of the back structure is a great model for anyone to follow. It's probably a good topic for some other videos to talk about the difference between tilt and bend of the back and how tilt is OK, bend is not OK.
