Loved the interview Edge especially for one...both of y'all being Florida boys...but 2 I've always followed Devin Hester's career because we both from Riviera Bch...and me being older than Devin my ppl knew his ppl growing up back in the 80's..so when we seen a Hester first at Miami then to the NFL...is was crazy for me...because he right we never had anybody come out of Riviera...but Anthony Carter...so you know Devin growing up he knw about Wells Gym...he went to Suncoast...which is the Chargers...my oldest brother went to Suncoast...plus I knw Devin knw bout John F. Kennedy on S. Ave and Blue Heron Blvd...45th st...8th Street Stony Brook...Devin Knw...He Out The RAW!!! plus let me add this...another person thats out Riviera is Triple J...he not a athlete but he was discovered by one of the greatest in hip hop history which is FaceMob(Scarface)and J being one of my best friends growing up...but thats was just a lil Riviera history!! DEVIN HESTER FOR THE HALL!!!! GREATEST RETURNER EVER FROM THE RAW!!!!
Nothing but love coming from roatan Honduras my mom took me to America when i was 4 years old i touchdown in SOUTH FLORIDA started off in the RAW 27th street by popeyes chicken went to Lincoln elementary and J.f.k middle school feel in love we football and played toss up and tackle. Played touch in the road tackle in the grass. I had a lot of Potential but just got caught up the streets and found myself in prison and after prison I was deported back to Honduras in 2005 at the age of 19. I've been here for about 20 years now. and coming from the Florida area especially south Florida most of us young black man living in a single parent home when you get outside we play football year round and the only occupation coming from our neighborhood are drug dealing or playing football. But watching my home team come from nothing to become very humble thankful and grateful for the blessings while still being 100% Florida. E.J nothing but love in my top 5 running backs all time I stand on that. And Devin Hester whenever you get that gold jacket make sure you slide through the RAW and show the young kids it's possible to follow your dreams and be successful.much love family god bless.
