Hi, you mentioned add it after emulsion has formed. what if there was no emulsion and there was only one phase like water phase only or oil phase only? Can I just add it to that? Thank you
Very good video, but it’s six years old. Can I please ask you if we can do something more simple to buy something which is already available and add any supplement to make DIY liposomal ?
Both w/o and o/w emulsions will be fine with the liposomes, just don’t use high shear mixing at any point after adding them, as that will break the liposome. @@limitlessenergy369 are you familiar with DMSO @70%CH32SO; i m researching to make oral high doses( 400-600 gr) non intravenous of vit c in case of venemous snake bite; have you tried making liposomal vit c that is overpriced.; that s why i m on this page; there is a famous french doctor that takes 3x dose of a deadly mushroom after he injects a high dose of vit c to prove the oxidative power of ascorbic acid.
@@happygolucky2012AD I use electronics for venom. First world solution. DMSO is good though. I have taken externally and internally. I also make my own LET Vitamin C.

These liposomes are not going to benefit your formula without actives present - one of the reasons we use liposomes is to protect actives in a formula and/or enhance delivery to the outer layers of the epidermis. Liposomes should added to finished products, in diluted and appropriate inputs to suit the actives used, and be used to encapsulate your active, not in their raw/straight form straight on the skin. Please make sure you use them appropriately in a finished formula. Happy formulating!
I'm so happy I found this channel! I was wondering if this could be done at home. Anyway, can I add more than 1 water soluble active to this mix at a time? Thanks

In theory yes, but you need to consider if they would provide any benefit that way, as their point is for enhanced/extended delivery while wash off products have only a very short contact time.

Your results may vary depending on the suppliers - please contact the supplier of the hydrogenated lecithin you want to use to see if they have any data on forming liposomes with their material specifically.
I want to buy thi stuff you have that enables me to encapsulate oil base an water base vitamins...plese let me know what the name of it is... It's much simpler than me having to use a blender and a jewelry cleaner
Is there an evidence-based technology for topical delivery/permeability enhancers for essential oils topical application on the scalp to reach hair follicles roots and the underlying vasculature? I am a pharmacist and also a chemist but unfortunately no industrial experience but I would understand any concept that might be complex so please guide me and/or refer me to literature that addresses this topic.
In the water soluble active procedure, what do you mean by the water soluble active? We are thinking of loading restriction enzymes into liposomes, so would that count as the water soluble active in this procedure? Thank you so much in advance.

While your accent is lovely, but I didn't understand any of the technical names or terms you said, I wish you had these written down for the accent challenged people like me.
@@theinstituteofpersonalcare6401 I'm referring to take internally, (liposomal vitamin "C"), for instance, etc, not for skin products. Hope this helps. Thank again for your input!
@@theinstituteofpersonalcare6401 the page you've suggested has no info regarding what I need. It's only oriented to skin care products, but nothing to do with the actual process of making liposoms to take internally.
@@luisamedina1 their whisking does some of this work. The specific chemicals they're using may cause a different kind of reaction for liposomal encapsulation as well. Seems they are more concerned with skin absorption... Which DMSO may be a better method anyway ;) In any case, sonication is a much more common way to do it.
