dudee shut up, i have worked professionally using both softwares for large brands. guess what, for simulations houdini is better than anything else out there and, yes it is better and HARDER. A software being harder doesn't mean that it's bad or less powerful than another. Plus, look at the average skills of blender users compared to 3ds max / c4d. We have to pay for subscriptions, meaning we have to push ourselves the extra mile, while you can close your blender application without worries.
