Amazing!. Thanks for share it! I have a question about the process. First, you georeferenced all the places of interested and got the shapefiles, right? Then the process of 3D. Is possible to make a 3D with a heatmap? for example to identify population density?.. Thanks in advance.

thanks for this tutorial. In my case, it was very hard to navigate or move around in the 3d space.. it helped when i changed in the settings/configure / camera from "terrain based" to "walk mode".. still it wasn't as easy it looks in your video. Then i did two keyframes for a simple straight camera movement, but unfortunately camera movement resulted pretty shaky/jittery :( - maybe my version is buggy

Which version of Qgis help to create 3D map???

Thanks for the tutorial. When I create a 3D map, only the area very close to the buildings is included on the background map (I guess only the area within the boundaries of the footprint shapefile). The rest is just left white. How do I get the map to include a larger area of OSM background like in the video?

how to you get the data for the footprint? Can I use a Rhino file?

Thank you for your share and I have a question about the process. I try to open de 3d viwer, the following alert shows: "3D view currently does not support unprojected coordinate reference systems (CRS). Please switch project's CRS to a projected CRS." Anyone knows the solution?
