Go for it Robbie I have the atco Balmoral, same machine as this just earlier name, swapped out the engine for a Honda GX200 and now have what I consider to be a superb mower, I have the scarifier and verticut reels and it does everything I need, picks up the cores after hollow tining, leaves etc and cuts really well

Robbie, would you stick with the petrol Kensington 17B as opposed to going for the Liberty 43?

@@Bassbaby838 I don't have either so not best to answer your question. If it's running ok why change? Does the liberty have a higher clip rate?

@@themowerman these are new machines for certain applications there some job I think...a rotary blade is really not more than slashing the grass....my lawn is shite with all the dogs we got running and digging....my Mrs just don't care😟👈

By lesser known far east manufacturer do you mean Honda? If so Honda engines are great engines on mowers

@@bullred9498 No I don't. I mean an unknown far-east manufacturer. Honda is a VERY well-known manufacturer.

Right on, wasn’t sure, I’ve only seen them with a Honda or Briggs and Stratton engine

@@ALLETTMOWERSUK Austin could sell sand to Arabs 😂 I originally watched the video on rotary vs cylinder. Young Austin explains the pros and cons really well. I’m a keen gardener, I started with roses then got into the lawn side of it. I chose Allett because you folks are passionate about your products, your products are first class and above all are open and honest. Avon Garden Machinery/ Mower Supermarket is one to be avoided. Thank you folks for being there👍🏻 When I retire I am certainly going to buy a C20 with a few attachments. I was asked by my good lady a few weeks ago what car I would buy if I won the lottery. My reply was I already have a car, I’d treat myself to a nice Allett mower, the Rolls Royce of mowers. Stay safe guys, you all do a great job, I’m really excited about getting my posh new mower 👍🏻

@@ALLETTMOWERSUK Thank you👍🏻 See folks, this is the level of service you get from Allett. I remember my Great Uncle Chris mowing his lawn with a cylinder mower. Allett, from my experience are like a family, and as said before “welcome”. They make mowers how they used to be made, strong, sturdy and dependable with a wonderful cut and stripe. I shall treat my 20b very well, she will only drink Aspen and will have an oil change very regularly. Take care folks and consider promoting Austin, poor chap seems to do all the graft, I hope he is paid well 😂

What is your experience on steering the mower with the one part back roll? How does it move if you want to make a turn?

@@ALLETTMOWERSUK that would be cheaper $ and easier to replace or repair. I thought the rear roller was going to have a rubber coating on the outside of it. Thanks

We took the rights off Bosch to build the machines but didn’t take the names

The Atco balmoral is now the Allett Kensington The Suffolk punch is now the Allett classic

But will the Allett grass box be compatible with my Qualcast classic petrol 35? - as you now have stated that Bosch was the parent company of acto-Qualcast, (now Allett) and that those look similar to the qualcast.

Hi this is available in the US yes We planned to launch it to the U.K. but Honda are currently having a shortage of that engine

@@ALLETTMOWERSUK How about a Battery Kensington 14? Liberty 43 is too big for me and the Liberty 35 isn't as good as the Kensington.

You don’t want a large bag as the weight will effect your height of cut

@@ALLETTMOWERSUK i did know that the Cobra Fortis was assembled in PRC, designed in the UK and i think was built in Japan. I have purchased the Cobra Fortis 14" mower, with 3 cassettes, adjustable rake and grooved roller, and all that cost less than the Kensington 14B. Dont get me wrong Allett make good mowers, but what with todays high prices, i decided to do the math, and get more for your hard earned money.

@@skodanut we all have to make decisions based on our budget .

They are high quality cylinder mowers made in Britain unlike the majority of lawnmowers nowadays that are made in China - our customers value that.
