Hi CPP. First time commenting on you video’s. I got to say first thank you. Your voice and videos are so soothing it awesome. I wanted to share a couple thoughts. First Verde Beach’s landscaping budget must just be enormous. And I agree if something ugly add trees. Second you know your kinda missing a opportunity to add another family/ company to the city. You speak about them and use them in ever video so my i present to you Mulligan Construction and Demolition the city’s most use firm. The came with the building of the airport, but decided to stay and help the city grow and improve.

I think you should add a pedestrian bridge over the railroad tracks to provide some connectivity from all the residential towers to the school and facilities.

I wish there was a way you could’ve put a running track in either around the football field or soccer field. These are super common to have at high schools!

In your last video about the new content, you said it would be difficult to place some of the new unique buildings, especially the one with the 2 snake heads. I actually think that you have the perfect place in VB, right at the new petting zoo tourist trap. Also, I think a new shopping mall/lifestyle center should be added in between the new stadium district, and Semperverde Blvd. It has great visibility from games, the highway, the train station, and Semperverde. It can also share some of the underused parking at the stadium already. Was there a tornado in the final pan out scene near those dams?

Enjoy spending time with your kiddos, you've definitely earned it. I think something you could do in the future is add a ferry stop on the volcano island and have some tours/ make it a park. Doesn't have to be anything special, but I thought since you've spent so much time trying to preserve viewing corridors to the volcano, you could make it a destination spot.

Hmm, when you moved your bus stops around, you ended up with two really close to each other - in each direction, too :) Might want to revisit your bus stop locations along that route! :) Great episode!

I love these new stadiums! When you removed parking from the road between the school and the railway line, I think you missed a chance to add a more direct bike route along there to get to the station.

Looks good. But for future reference, it’s way more common for baseball players (especially school age) to foul off a ball to the sides or backwards than home runs lol. Not having a fence and net behind home plate on this asset is kinda hilarious lol every car is going to get a hole in its window

As a baseball player it is very important to have something very dark behind the outfield so as a hitter it is very easy to see the white ball against the dark background. That’s why you see black walls in center field in most ballparks. I would suggest adding a 20 ft tall black wall or a very strongly wooded area to crest that contrast.

Hi Phil - great episode as always - new sports areas really does look great with the new trees really making the new area look even better than it would have with the new vibrant colours btw - I think you forgot to convert the new trees along the new arterial road as they are still the old vanilla ones! great video still - can't wait for the next one!

You may need a separate complex for multiple tennis courts. Practice or tournaments usually need at least 4 courts. Bigger complexes may have 8 or so.

I've caught up most achievements since repairing my PC after my M2 died on me, except for the last two Natural Disasters scenarios. Time to take a break from the monstrosities those scenarios force you to build and watch some thoughtful city planning. PS - when the game first came out I cheated on the scenarios by downloading savegames because my old PCs couldn't run cities over 100k pop, so at least I will have done them legitimately when they're finished :D

what irks me the most in this video is that he put the football (soccer) field right next a road area. If it was me, I would have put the football field around the basketball/tennis are while those two swapped places with the football ones. And I know it non functional at most but aesthetic wise, you can't stop thinking of the ball going onto the road everytime a side kicked the ball at that area lmao.

Strange things going on with the baseball and American football fields. The baseball field has no backstop behind home plate, and the fans sit right behind where it should be. Someone is definitely going to take a foul ball off the face, and the school is definitely going to get sued. And the football field has the goalposts situated at the goal line instead of the back of the end zone. That means the goalpost stanchion is in play in the middle of the end zone! That was how it was until the 1970s, when they moved the goalposts back because people kept running into them. That's not as big a deal, but the lack of a backstop behind the baseball field is a dealbreaker for me, and I can't use that asset because of it. Campus looks great though!

I think the street between the fields should be a pedestrian street. You wouldn’t want cars crossing where kids might run after loose balls.

Think it depends on the location of where the school and stuff is. Where I live, if there was room for it then everything was put right next to the school so the athletes don't have to travel far to play for their home games. I also live in much smaller towns and cities

Yeah I don’t know how they do it in like older major cities with space constraints like NYC or in other countries but in most of the United States each high school will have their own dedicated sports facilities on site. And most often times (at least here in Texas) those facilities will be the nicest public facilities in the town or respective neighborhood you live in.

I mean, street parking just kinda sucks in general but you'd have to redesign the cities roads and layout from the ground up to make it suitable to have no street parking. Or destroy it with parking lots and garages

The baseball field doesn't have a fence on the outfield. That's just all sorts of dangerous for many people and a lot of liability issues for the school. That should probably be fixed
