Have you been trying to create a relative date slicer, using a selected value, but just can't figure it out?
In this #PowerBi video, I will show you how to use a DAX measure to filter your visuals. This measure will allow you to create a relative date filter for your visuals, showing a selected period back from a selected date in time. This is something I have been trying to figure out for a while and I am so happy to share it with you all!

It has been quite some time since someone showed me something so good that I actually logged in to like and comment. I'm fairly new to PBIX and spend two days looking at at least six other videos on this, all of them overly complicated and in the end not capable of modifying to work with the actual non-contiguous date table I have. Thanks so much for this video.

Hey Im wondering if you can help me. Im trying to adapt this but i want it to show the last n days of each month, so instead of having a day selected i want it to have a period/month selected

Hey mate, this is an amazing video - thank you. When I try to add the filter to a matrix table all the data disappears. Is this something you've encountered or is there a workaround for it?
