The game very intentionally asked for a standard lifting platform... This is not one of the games where "I know better how the game works than its programmers" works. That's more of a triple-A-game thing, where multiple departments work independently and don't care what the others do. PS: It helps to use bus stops on the right side of the street in a right-hand-drive country. Less turning around in circles to get to the left side of the street.
1. That large lifting platform won't work for small buses (large buswash is fine). 2. Yeah, I would go for point-to-point as it's more realistic for a bus network. 3. Well done on resisting the temptation to take out 198457363795 loans (for now). 4. I would suggest getting more drivers and service employees, as they all want breaks sometimes and your service centre will get very busy very quickly. 5. I'm excited to see how all-electric goes, I would suggest starting to go into power production etc. later when you have more money, for now it's best to just expand.

Trouble with electric vehicles is they are no more environmentaly friendly than your nation's power network. Ideally you'd have some form of green power plant at the depot (solar, wind, hydro) Otherwise you're just moving the polution further away.
