This was genuinely fascinating watching the galaxy evolve. Maybe next time make it a bit more realistic and put a ring of 100 million solar mass around the 1 million solar mass black hole. Maybe take a time lapse of it for the video.
Hello Anton could you put Venus at the Orbit of Mars and them make first Mars hit Venus and then make Mercury hit that Venus Mars Combo and make some 100 000 000 years pass i belive that would Terraform it quite well.

what you will need to do is create a denser universe like it was shortly after the big bang. plenty of gas and material closer together to simulate the time when these processes started.
this simulation doesnt work anymore. idk what they did Edit: It works but setting needs to be tweaked heavily, try a smaller black hole and a total mass of 50 instead of 100 suns
For me the gas giants just turn into big supernova clouds and don't form stars. One of the supernova clouds is 7000 AU in diameter and nothing still happened
how about the big bang formd and a star died a turns into a blcak hole and eating other black holes for millions of years and its gravity its so strong that stars orbit it

Im trying to create a galaxy my self in this same program since inspiration from this awesome video of you'rs, i seem to have a problem adding those material rings that you do though, i did the exact same setting but i cant add them, why is this? i see my "add rings" button is grey instead of you're that is black, why is this? have you changed any specific setting to be able to add them?

I’m definitely doing something wrong because I’ve tried to follow your instructions exactly, twice, and both times in a relatively short period of time everything combined into one huge staror two. The particle rings really only go .3 AU to 1.2 AU from black hole? What about the custom gas planets what is their distance from the black hole?

The Cookie RoosterTM - Well, I'm no astrophysicists or astronomer, but I'd be willing to bet that if Hydrogen + Oxygen = Water, then if Hydrogen molecules in space come into contact with Oxygen in space... boom! Water is born. Now uh, I'm not sure where either of the elements would come from- though Hydrogen I believe can come from stars- but regardless.

I created a galaxy before watching this video which you only have to search "pera" to see on its own the most important thing you must learn is that only the central black hole and the galaxy itself has a name the central black hole is called "Entan A*" btw I am a fan of you

I just started when I got off work. t is only slightly different. Same black hole and 2M1207 Red Dwarf, but I put in over 200 of them. The Saturn ring(Ring shape) set at 5000 at an AU between 3 and 6. Then another Saturn ring(Torus shape) set at 5000 at an AU of 1 to 3. I have only had 1 supernova so far, but there are about 5-ish Blue stars and maybe 20-25 Red ones. My procs are fully loaded with all cores at 90-95% usage and hovering around 50ºC. Go go liquid cooling :)

my question is how can you have a black hole to start a galaxy without any stars to create one? Where did that original star come from before it was a blackhole?
