Great video step by step. Only two small details I noticed left out. How to select two different offsets and how to clean up the grey offset with the points. Keep videos like this coming. Subscriber👍
Been playing with this idea all day today, say a design online that used it so I played around with silhouette and learned this! I love it! Great design and tutorial. I plan on using this for an Always Prayin' with Jesus in it. Lol
I have done a few knockouts in the past for my son's school with 3 layers no problem. But I am having trouble doing them now. Can you give me some ideas on what I maybe doing wrong now.
You can use the knockout method for a t-shirt. With this method you are essentially puzzling the pieces together to make them look like they are layered on top of one another.

Can you guys do another video on this, somethings were not clear and the camera was from a distance, so I couldn't see all the stuff she was touching in the side bars and stuff.
You could do a print and cut image on printable heat transfer vinyl. That way it all prints out as one piece and you are not cutting the individual images each time. This works with any silhouette machine, this is an older video so the tabs have changed a bit. On the right hand side click the 'modify' button. Select your two shapes and click 'subtract all' from the modify section
Hi Liz, if you are doing knockouts or layering like this we recommend doing the first couple of layers for only a few seconds. That way you will prevent it from shrinking. By the time you get to the last layer the first ones will have the amount of heat and time needed to adhere. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
I'm new to this and was kinda wondering the same thing, I have looked for how to do this but everyone seems to leave out the how to cut the different layers

Hi Becky, yes, on the Siser Heat Transfer Vinyl that we carry you do flip the image since you are cutting on the back side of the vinyl. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
Hi, yes, this is the same method you would use for Adhesive vinyl and a decal. For those, you just do not need to reverse or mirror the image. Hopefully that helps.
