I just love your work! I have to say, though, that I didn’t realize at first that the yellow on your paintings was the masking tape. They were even more beautiful when I thought the yellow was a border. Every video of yours is a delight. I’m so glad I found you!

This is fascinating! The processes you described here....its almost as if a complete saturation of the idea is required, and tried out in a variety of materials before committing to a final piece. Its something I haven't thought about (or tried) before. I'm a bit more direct and just go ahead, whereas perhaps I could be a bit more of an explorer and try the idea out in different ways before finally choosing to complete it. Very inspired now! :) x

I love your videos always! Curious if the Daler Rowney Sketchbook can handle water media or whether it needs gesso?

Hello. Well... it's not super thick paper, I think its only 160gsm, it will take some wet media definitely ..but I doubt it would handle a real hammering...xx
