I LOVE this die set. Instructions were hard to understand at first because I couldn't picture how it worked but as my experience with mechanisms that make things move grew, it now makes perfect sense. Making interactive cards to delight and surprise my friends and family is one of my favorite things to do. I've found that broadening my experience, imagination and mixing and matching other stamp/die sets this mechanism can be used in countless ways. Thank you for this awesome video :)
Girl, I am BLOWN AWAY!! When I looked at this die set I said “no way - can’t do it!” But you’ve given clear and concise instructions and the mechanism is BRILLIANT!! You are my hero, sweet friend!! My engineering genius hero!! Well done, chica!!
The continual, innovative additions to the product line is one of many reasons why MFT is MFC (My Favorite Company). You're really carving yourselves out a niche in this interactive space. Way to go! :o)
MFT never ceases to amaze me with their monthly revolutionary releases, I am so so excited for this release! Such gorgeous cards that are featured in this!
Wonderful card, Laura! I think it really helps to see these interactive dies being put together in a video. Just makes so much more sense! Love the second card with the cute animals especially. Thanks for sharing, & have an awesome day! :)
I just used this die set with Art Impressions Girlfriend Collection- Dancers and after fiddling with size and proportion measurements it turned out so adorably cute. I LOVE this die set!!!
Both of these cards are so adorable, I can't wait to get them for my 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren!!!!! I do have a total of 29 grandchildren, But I don't know how the older boys will feel if I give them one. Although I know my granddaughters will love them since they remember when their grandpa that's no longer with us and I would take them to Lagoon and go on the rides : )
I would have learned how to do this interactive card if you slowed down during the process. It's hard to catch all of the instructions. I do love the concept and the card is beautiful.
I change the settings to slow the speed and display captions if I'm trying to write down detailed instructions for a card. (The captions aren't always an accurate transcription, but depending how slow the speed is, the audio can be hard to understand.)
Dear Terese, The interactive die set is complete, but does not include the Carousel dies, if that's what you are asking... You can however use it with a bunch of different stamps that you might already have in your stash. 😁
Laura Dovalo oh good ( no I understand i have to buy the die) you added several different pieces( things) to the interactive card- i just wanted to make sure . I love making cards but it’s expensive!!! Thank you so much
@@ptreasures923 Oh good news, I found them on the mft site: mftstamps.com/products/spin-slide-discs?_pos=1&_sid=b2f5afdb8&_ss=r. You can also find them on amazon for a little more $ but free shipping if you're a prime member: www.amazon.com/My-Favorite-Things-Slide-Discs/dp/B01M5K0YCI/ref=sr_1_2?crid=2QKG7168CFCP8&dchild=1&keywords=mft+spin+and+slide+discs&qid=1590855155&sprefix=mft+spin+%26+slid%2Caps%2C222&sr=8-2. Hope that helps!
The design of the die is bad, when you need to modify the mechanism by cutting it with scissors, to get it to work the way you want it to. :( Also, the hole between the two slits is missing and you need to make it yourself with other dies that you have.. Good idea with this die, but bad design.
I wish you show all the material needed and explain one by one before even started to assemble. I appreciate the video, but honestly it’s really hard to understand what you’re doing.
