I know most people don't like pre-evolutions since they don't exactly make the base Pokemon any stronger, but I like them as they can really add to a line, allow you to use a stronger Pokemon earlier (in a weird sort of way) and in general are just cute. Darkawaii feels like an actual pre-evo. I'd love to see more of this in the future.

The reason some people don't like pre evolutions is because they think gamefreak is running out of ideas.

A lot of the time I don’t like the baby Pokémon because they give a lot of them to fairly weak Pokémon already

I love the idea of the latios/latias pre-evolution being purple, as it kind of explains why their Megas are purple.

idk if it was intentional but the latios/latias pre-evolution shares a very similar colour palete to the non-binary flag

Not gonna lie the idea of having baby versions of legendaries around and having to heavily train one and have it need a very rare exclusive item or be in a legendary-based location to evolve is awesome

Since you did a Xerneas pre-evolution in this video, maybe you could do a Yveltal pre-evolution in the next video. Perhaps it's very skinny and sickly because it hasn't mastered its ability to absorb the life energy of those around it yet.

What I love the most about these prevos is how childish and naive they look. They are basically children gods, and as such they ignore their responsabilities and just like to play around while learning about the world. My favourite has to be Darkawaii, the concept of a sleepy nightmarish child just fits so well with Darkrai, it doesn't feel fanmade at all. Great job!

Great designs my fave was Pulsaray you really captured that balance of iconic elements along with new ones. I’d love to see the reverse of this video designing evolutions/primal forms for legendary/Mythical Pokémon that already kind of look like baby forms (Celebi/Jarachi/Mew/Victini/Manaphy/etc.)

Now, I wonder what a pre evolution for solgaleo and lunala could be like? 🤔 Edit: Ok so apparently some of you don’t get the joke, so I’m basically making a fun of the fact that solgaleo and lunala are the only legendary Pokémon with prevos. Designing a pre-evolved form of Mewtwo might not be so hard since we have little Mewtwo from the Origin of Mewtwo short. The Xerneas one is adorable and the Rayquaza one is precious.

Not sure if the young Mewtwo would count as a pre-evo of grown Mewtwo. Mewtwo is a clone and wouldn't have the chance to experience an evolution outside of its "cloning" environment. I see it something more similar to Kangakhan who have a baby that eventually grows up and become a full-grown Kangakhan

He technically already has one though not an evolution being Mew. Though Mewtwo was created as a clone from Mew.

The Darkrai pre-evo is absolutely perfect. Adorable but still clearly has the same design elements that help make Darkrai as menacing and iconic as it is. Ladorus looks great. Both cute but clearly has a bit of a mean streak-showing off the potential for destruction from Thunderous and Tornadous. Okay, Tiny-Quaza is too precious and I want to hug it. Same with Xerneas pre--evo.

"Darkawaii" is a very fitting name as "kowaii" (similar to "kawaii") means "scary" in Japanese (i.e. there's a bit of juxtaposition)

It's Purple and yellow Unless you mean Red + Blue =Purple And the shape is similar but easily noticable

I like the idea of these Pre-Evolutions/baby Pokemon. But if they where included/made into canon they should be time consuming to evolve but not include negative affection or trades or record mixing.

So can we expect more pre-evolved? I think Lugio, Hoho and the Bird Trio should be branch evolves from the same pre-evolution, the three lake guardians should also have the same pre-evolutions, and the three sacred beast should all have the same pre-evolution. As would the two legendary wolves of Galar.

I made a similar thing to these called legendary decendents they require prime stones to become legendary and if you fused the prime stone with another transformation stone (ex: mega stone) then it will instantly become the other form and when it becomes a legendary it gets ten times in every stat
