--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In this 3 video tutorial on dynamic web application development, we will learn how to create a master page in ASP.NET. We will create the basic template in the master page by adding the navigation links & footer links & also do its styling.
What is Master Page in ASP.NET ?
Master pages allow you to create a consistent look and behavior for all the pages (or group of pages) in your web application.
A master page provides a template for other pages, with shared layout and functionality. The master page defines placeholders for the content, which can be overridden by content pages. The output result is a combination of the master page and the content page.
The content pages contain the content you want to display.
When users request the content page, ASP.NET merges the pages to produce output that combines the layout of the master page with the content of the content page.

Yes, you can. Infact in windows form application using C# pretty much a lot of the code will also be the same. I do not have a video playlist as of now on the channel though

Hello Prashant. Good questions. So to answer question 1 - I have 2 playlists on web development with PHP for beginners already. Please checkout the playlists in the channel. Answer to question 2 - .NET is absolutely worth learning in 2020. Even thought there are many other new technologies coming in todays time, .NET is still being used is many companies & applications. It has grown very mature & has a lot of support. After all its a technology from one of the biggest tech giants Microsoft. Check this link which shows which are the most trending frameworks in todays time - trends.builtwith.com/framework You will see that ASP is second after PHP.

Thats because we cannot run a Master page directly. We have to create a content page for that master page and run that in browser. Because masterpage is just the structure of the website not a complete page. 😇

sir i am facing one problems in my asp.net project.....i use many master pages and more than 20 content pages of one master page the problem is how to manage all folders...in solution explorer there is more than 300 folders how to merge one master page and its content page in one folder. pls help me i search every where but no any result
