Gardening is so therapeutic. Instead of talking with a therapist, you talk with God during the process & in the end you have something of lasting beauty. Tyfs! You both did a beautiful job. I subbed because I'm excited to go along this journey with you!
Let me tell you beautiful and serene this looks. I can see early morning tea and coffee listening to nature and sunsets with a glass of sweet tea. Just beautiful ❤
You and Earnie did an amazing job. I know it hasn't been easy with all the heat of summer but you kept going and it's coming along nicely. Enjoy your labor of love. Have a blessed weekend.
Wowie! All your hard work has sure paid off. It all looks so beautiful, just like a secret garden you had envisioned. I bet your neighbors love it too! Hope you can take time to relax and enjoy.
I've been following your series because my husband and I have been doing the same thing. We're in our 50s and that clay soil is no joke! It's all going to be worth it in the end. You should be so proud!
Very nice of you to consider your neighbors. I cannot put plants on some of the fence on our side because their bushes are growing through the bottom on our side. Plus they planted invasive lilies that are now popping up on our lawn.
Oh no! The one neighbor where we planted the maples has their fence right on the property line. They didn't add a back gate so they walk through my yard to maintain their property behind the fence. 😩
Thank you, Angie! I plan on watching the videos you all did! I've been busy filming all weekend and Ern is home so don't have time to RU-vid binge! But I'm so looking forward to it!
Hey Anna, Happy Saturday. Thank you for bringing us along for this transformation it turned out so beautiful and now you have your dream garden. ❤❤ You and Ernie put so much hard work into this garden and it shows especially in this video.
It's amazing how much work has been done! Looking at it from the beginning to now, your vision has been amazing! I can't wait to come home and enjoy it!. 😘😊😊
Hi Anna, wow the garden came out fabulous it is just perfection. Enjoy that beautiful view everyday! I hope you and your husband do nothing but relax after all that work.
Turned out Amazing, Anna❣️. That Coleus is so stinking pretty and the pot it sits in! You both should be proud of the outcome and I’ll bet neighbors are also Amazed by your hard work! ❤
Don’t forget to put in a little pond. :-) And you’d probably like to have a waterfall too. At night with your lights, and the sound of that water, that would be awesome. Blessings.❤
Very nice 🙂🦋🦋,three thing to alway consider..right plant, right place..when fully grown will it become a Neusense because of the small space you allowed..and lastly does it attract beneficial insects / pests. Happy gardening 🦋🦋🦋
Very pretty. Not going to lie…trying to wrap my brain around spending money on sod to then remove it! I also love privets. You won’t have a walkway in a few years though. Having a fence there already (privacy) and it being a walkway, the boxwoods would be a much better size for that area. Lots of hard work y’all did there! Looks very nice.
I suppose it's hard for others to understand. However, I'm happy I did it this way as I did change my mind on garden design. So had I left tge original design open I would jave been unhappy. But I totally get it! ☺️
An amazing transformation❤lots of hard work, determination and love. I so enjoyed the journey. I have found a lot of unique pieces on Etsy for my garden; a little pricey, but well worth it . I absolutely enjoy your content even if sometimes it doesn’t relate to me 😊you are just a warm, kind and family oriented spirit.. have a blessed weekend, your friend from Massachusetts❤
@@homeandgardenwithanna no, sorry I had put for instead of found😩 I get a lot of my pieces on a shop from California. It takes a bit to get to me, but it’s well worth it. Let me know if you need the name of the shop and I will surely send it to you and you can check it out. I do not get any kick backs on this.🤣🤣
Your video was lovely, and so is the space you created. I'm also new to the south. I purchased a Hopi Crape Myrtle, and the Japanese Beetles had a field day. I used neem oil. It worked but took a few applications. But I was excited to hear you say that you used sevin dust. I'll be trying that next year if they come back.
I also have some blooms. I was wondering if it would. I just got it in May. And I never thought to net it. That would also keep the wasps away.🙂I'm so glad I came across your video.@@homeandgardenwithanna
Yo Mrs Anna……..you and your Boo did an amazing job. Your back yard is the “Bomb-Dot-Com”. I agree, the white fencing is whack! I never liked fences. You deff have an eye for gardening!!! I’m new to your channel. I hope you have more great videos to come.
I don't plant trees next to a fence line because I would feel bad that my neighbors will be forever having to clean up my leaves and my branches from their property. It does look beautiful though!
