You and Surgi have done such a beautiful job on that room a lot of hard work, but you have moved quite quickly in getting it accomplished. I agree with you about leaving that wall just painted and then the beige cotton or linen or even sheer curtains makes the room look bigger more depth as you walk in. This puts a smile on my face when I see you enjoying your beautiful garden that you have created all on your own Alia and amazing slice of heaven. I am like you I love beautiful gardens . It certainly was a labour of love and your creation is blossoming everywhere. It is so nice to see you stroll through it enjoying Your creation, drinking a cup of coffee and Surgi is really loving that garden to. A place where you both can relax rejuvenate and surround yourself with beauty while you work hard on your home. You are both creating a jewel of a home, so happy for you both.💝

Alla, I'm going to be honest with you, I'm not really a fan of the wall covering, I think it makes the room look small and too busy. Alla have you considered painting the skirting boards and frames before installing. It will be quicker and ensure no paint gets on your beautiful upholstery. I was surprised you started upholstering before painting, I would have been terrified. Going forward think about planning your work, making sure you can paint a whole wall in one session, it will give you a much better finish.❤
Yes, a valance will look nice above the curtain. It will add softness and if the color is close to the paneling creamy color, it will give a place for the eye to rest.

I think the skirting (floor molding) might be a little too wide, consider using a smaller molding. The balance seems off. Can’t wait to see the room fully furnished with some of the beautiful things you’ve been buying.
The rooms coming along nicely. The panelling is amazing. The flowers of the cherry blossoms get affected by hail, heavy rain so cross your fingers that kind of weather is not in the near future. Peony ( pee-ny) don’t emphasize the ‘o’.

I dont want to sound intrusive but a clean workspace is easier to work with ,i dont know how many times you must of moved that bedhead but im sure it must of been a lot.how about your attic for storage now its getting warmer for everything you dont need just yet??? Just a suggestion

Los paneles quedan muy elegantes y bonitos, buena idea de no poner tela en la pared de la ventana, la tela a rayas hace el dormitorio más estrecho y oscuro, yo creo que con un papel de pared de color mas claro el dormitorio hubiera quedado mas bonito , incluso solo con paneles arriba y abajo en todas las paredes también hubiese quedado espectacular!! La tela la podrías haber utilizado para tapizar el sillón y hacer cojines o almohadones grandes para la cama también para el dosel. Así no tendrías que haber puesto parches de otra tela para las paredes que se ve un poco raro eso!!
