I 100% agree. We do regular print head cleans on this one and it’s lasted and hasn’t missed a beat in about a year or so

My 2800 wont detect the inkjet stencil paper suggeestions?

No sales pitch needed, thermal printers have their uses for sure, half the guys in the shop use the one in the shop, in my case, I make the stencils based off procreate, and with black and grey images the epson along with the inkjet ink produce a clearer stencil everytime. Not really a sales pitch, I compared both how I as in myself do stencils, yes minimum effort for the video, but the same effort for both stencil printings using the same image.

Question for both of you. I've had my 3M secretary for a little over 10 years...haven't had to touch it until the other day when one of the guys cranked the heat which looks to me like it shrunk the entire belt, and now the rollers don't want to spin.... just ordered a new belt from worldwide, 75 bucks and I'm not sure if that's a good price or a rip off because I couldn't find anywhere online what the belt is made out of. I also had an Epson Eco tank, we could never get the stencils on the Epson to stay like we can with the 3M thermal copier.....was I doing something wrong? I'm wondering if the carbon is more concentrated because of the heat that the thermal copier puts out? Also, wondering if you guys know any way around not having to run an inkjet once a day/ at least week without it clogging up....made that mistake and tried to flush it with multiple kits...all of the printhead are working except for the black so it's been shot for a few years now. i've been wanting to try the Epson Eco tank again because the stencils are insane. I guess I'm just wondering if they're going to wipe off faster, also, the price of that concentrated carbon, forget the brand name is insane. Totally worth it though If it results in an amazing tattoo.

I can get prints on the therma almost with the same detais of the eco tank printer using both options on at the same time, option II and photography. It's amazing how dark it gets and how long it holds on the clients skin

Inkjet stencil paper. Best and only paper I’ve found to work

We print a lot almost everyday with it! When any ink sets it has time to dry, keep it pumping

Might be to thin, but the paper is pretty cheap imo

They make special paper for it , would recommend only using the correct paper nothing else has worked well for me with it

I do a head clean once ever other day. Tend to work best because when the paper hits the print head is what causes the clogs in the jets, and makes the lighter tones to not get sprayed

you can clearly see the difference even before applying it? Carbon isn’t going to magically appear in places you with based off a few seconds off application.
