Creating the NEW Alton Towers ROLLERCOASTER!!

Alton Towers are building a BRAND NEW ROLLERCOASTER in 2025, and today I am going to create it... not in real life but you get me anyway. Using Planet Coaster i have created the exact dimensioned building that Project Horizon is set to be situated inside, the park's newest investment after Nemesis Reborn - and I'll be making 3 types of rides that could all fit in there! RMC, Intamin or even an S&S coaster, what could it be? Choose your favourite out the 3 i make!

I was thinking multi-dimensional as soon as you said it, but watching the axis coaster mock up you did, that is my preferred choice. Looks incredible

It's probably the multi dimension coaster. I feel like if they were to do an axis coaster it would be a secret weapon since it's a worlds first. It'd be sick if they did an axis coaster though

Great video idea! I had been saying Multi-Dimension Coaster since Day 1, but now that RMC's Wild Moose is a thing, I think that Towers may build that instead. Remember that the Alton Mouse used to be here! 👍

Great video Dan! To all the people saying that it won't be an Intamin 4D coaster because of Th13teen, just remember that most of the general public (AT's main audience) don't know or even care what an Intamin is. Personally, think they could make it different enough from Th13teen so it doesn't feel like a repeat.

Thirt13n is literally a Intamin 4D coaster, I think it’s more likely that Towers will get a Intamin Straddle or an Intamin Launch + Lift coaster rather than a repeat of 13’s model

I think we could see a s and s axis coaster as a replacement for vampire, except the trains don't go upside down when the track does. However you can pay to have a free spinning train experience.

Bit of a theory here, if project horizon ends up being the multi dimension coaster, does that make Th13een a potential coaster as well as rita that could get removed in the future to make way for a massive coaster in the dark forest (potentially a large scale RMC)

You gotta keep in mind they can’t go above the tree line, so it would be a very unconventional RMC. Not saying they can’t do it, but it’s not going to be your typical Zadra or Iron Gwazi

go to the end of park and ride galsctica and all the coasters at the back then make ur way to wicker man and up towards octonauts via x sector (octonauts is best coaster and is to be left till last

What I don't understand is, why were towers hinting to a RMC coaster when the chances of the coaster being a Multi-Dimensional Coaster are higher? I'm guessing it's a 50/50 at this point? Another great video Dan, congrats on 48k too!

I personally, altho I’m unsure if it would fit. But something like Guardians of the galaxy cosmic rewind would be sick. And has a lot of potential for theming which I’m sure is what Alton will want!

About a year ago, Intamin showcased their Muliti-dimension coaster model. There is a video on ACE's channel about it. Intamin said something interesting: they have some MDC projects in the works, but can't share the details. It clearly seems lile they were hinting towards more than one. So let's count the ones we know. At the time, Uncharted was one of those projects. So now we have Fast and Furious Hollywood Drift as a likely one (the coaster'sexistencewas confirmed, but Universalstill hasn't confirmedif it's Intamin,likely is though) and/or Project Horizon as one? Just a thought I came up with.

4:32 Dan TH13TEEN is an Intamin Multi-Dimensional coaster theres no way that Project Horizon is an Intamin Multi-Dimensional coaster unless Alton Towers are willing to have two coasters of the same model in their park, which I doubt
