Building the ODR (outdoor rink) for the family to use during the winter and to practice my neutral zone turnovers. Since they shut all of the rinks we'll just build our own!
I used the same for lines and would never do it again. On a sunny day the ice always gets soft above the lines and is susceptible to big chunks/gouges in the ice. Same thing happening at Lake Tahoe for outdoor NHL game.
Yes! The paper absorbs the sunlight and warms up and the ice above it melts. Good learning curve though. Painting lines might be the way to go next year.
