I live in a very small, rural town (we're actually called a village), and we do a Founder's Day every summer. My husband has wanted me to set up a booth for my nails, but I only do custom orders. I don't do any kind of premade, ready to sell sets, but if I did, I would absolutely do something like that. I've seen other press ons artists do pop ups, or vendor events, with great success.

Oh please please please my queen! Please do the vendor video! I have people asked me to set up a vendor for their party/festival and i'm so lost i really don't know what to do and i want to say no but i just start doing press on nails ( to tell you the truth I got inspired to do press on after i found your video one day since then you are like my teacher) as of now because i lost my job. I still have zero customers so this could be an opportunity for me to put my works out in market or at least make people know about me. It could be the big help.

Val, As always Beautiful!! You asked for Chrome help, or comments: I have 3 or 4 red chromes, most are pretty dark, except the one from Daily Charm. It's a brighter red, kind of a poppy color. And your right, your base matters, which is why I also, very rarely, use black. You can totally see the black when you tilt the nails... Which I also hate!! 😝 I've never tried over white, but I'm sure that would get you a bright red!! As for Chroming into the polish, I was told not to do that, we were taught that, it goes into the no wipe top... Once I did go into the gel residue with pigments, and they became wet looking, but in patches. Like it stayed wet, even after several applications. Also tried dry wiping the gel residue off, with a nail wipe, and that left streaks, that you totally could see and not get rid of, once you applied powder. So, yours worked - but it shouldn't have... lol You did what we were taught not too... lol If I remember correctly, it was because its not a bright and shiny in the polish, now granted they originally told everyone you must use black, but still, I think over gel top coat your would have got a more "Chrome" shine, if that makes sense.. I have also found that top coat changes things completely, I bought a black chrome, and it went on dark silver. I was so upset, but when I top coated it - it turned black!! So top coat does wonders to chrome... But this worked, everyone is happy - I call it a total win!! 😊

I have a habit of not remembering what products I've used, but I've also just started mixing gels to create my own custom colors, so now I've started writing down what I use for every set. I also post all of my sets on ig, so I have a specific green notepad that I use to write down every product that I use for each set. It has helped a lot because I tag the brands in every ig post as well. Maybe that's something that you could try? Or if you have an iPad/tablet/phone, that you're not using to record, you could start a note, on your device, to save which products you're using for your sets. Just start with a basic description, that you'll be able to automatically picture the set in your head, then list the products under that? Also, with chromes (red chromes at least), you can apply them over white. I have a red that I have tried over clear, white and black. The white did make it more of a cherry red, and I didn't notice any issues with the white underneath.

Speaking of top coats. I have searched and tried SO many brands, but either they are watery or they don't keep their shine. I've recently found my absolute favorite brand. Their glossy top coat is thick and stays shiny, and their matte top coat is true matte. You can get their base coat, glossy top coat, matte top coat and nail straightener for less than $15 on amazon. It's called Perfect Summer, and I'm obsessed. I'd definitely recommend checking them out. Especially for the price!

Try it over a non wipe top coat and not on a sticky base. That’s how you use it it’s was brighter.

Yes, I have a little bit lighter red chrome powder. I don’t remember where I purchased it so I’m going to go look up on this for five websites that I buy stuff from and try to see if I can pull up the order of it so I can tell you what it is and where I purchased it it doesn’t really have any numbers or anything on it but it’ll be in my purchase orders somewhere.😊 I’m going to try to replicate this set that you’re doing right now. Now everybody’s cell phone screens a little bit different but I pulled it up on my laptop so I have a pretty good idea. I’m going to be using this chrome red . I’ll be using the same brand of white, gel polish, MEMEDA. Milky white I’m also using the painted Desert full cover Gel tips and the painted desert cactus Gel for putting the tips on and the painted desert top and bottom coat. I like the painted desert nail tips, because they have wider nail tips!

You can choose sculpted tips if the client has very rounded nail beds , but i have flat nail beds and wear this shape just like any other and they last too 💕 just depends but I only use these because I love the length and shape and enail doesnt make them in non sculpted

Yet again another gorgeous nail set. 😍 I’m a qualified nail tech an I love your work hun. I’m in a bit of a funk at the min with being able to come up with nail designs. An seeing some of the designs that you have created really help to inspire me. Also, I don’t know if you will see this but on the off chance that you do I just thought I would let you know something. Please don’t think I’m trying to be the language police or anything lol. Cause I’m the last person to try an be like that. I just wanted to let you know that I’ve noticed in quite a few videos that I’ve heard you say the word access when talking about more like having more of something. But it’s not actually pronounced access. The word you’re meaning is actually excess. You have excess gel when doing a design (for example) access is when like say for example. I’m trying to gain access to this property. I’m really not trying to criticise or anything like that hun I just wanted to let you know. So I really hope this isn’t coming across in any other way than just one nail Sista trying to help another nail Sista lol. Anyways can’t wait to see your next video. Also, by any chance do you have plans on doing another room tour?. Just I remember watching one you did I think it was like a year or 2 ago now. I loved the one you did last time and just thought I’d would be cool to see what your room is like now. As I love watching nail room tours and desk tour vids lol. Yes its super hard I just try to imagine what it looks like or try to make it as similar as I can also find that a lot of people edit photos to make colors more saturated and stuff so that makes it harder as well
