For the Horizonal boxes, select the horizonal boxes- then go to shape properties clear out the multi and put in your percentage- saves time on clicking on each box...

I wish you would do a video using material test generator. It automatically makes the grid.

While I did not make a specific video for that. I have gone over that process in other videos.

Thank you for taking the time to make these videos they are very much appreciated. When I try and type in the speed settings I cant get the setting that you have for example 4.2 I can only get it to go to 4 or any one with a decimal place. Cheers Stay safe

I run mm/second. Are you running the same?

@@LaserNoob Hello again, I just have a small diode laser and run mm/min. When I check the settings the mm/sec appears to be for a CO2 one. The question is, can I use this setting. As you probable realise I'm a New Bee in the world of laser and CNC work. Cheers again. Bill M8-) Haddington Scotland

You can use mm/s. It makes absolutely no difference what type of laser you're using. But, if you prefer to use mm/m, simply multiply the speed setting by 60. So the 4.2 mm/s becomes 252 mm/m. Feel free to ask any question, that's what I'm here for! Good luck.

Lightburn added a material test tool that does exactly what you showed. It is under the laser tools menu

Not everyone continues to pay for lightburn to update. Those folks may not have access to the material test. If you do, great.

So my husband and I were trying to learn our new laser and we had the Cut/layers on the right side but now it's gone, my husband thinks he hit the x and deleted it. How do I get it back?

Go to the top of lightburn and click "Window". Then scroll down and select "Cuts/Layers". It will now be docked again.
