This was the best and most relatable tutorial I've seen on CK so far. Who would have thought but I've got a lot of bloody Snowberries to move amongst a bunch of other stuff and I reckon I can now give CK a fair dinkum crack without hiding in a corner. Cheers again.

I don't use Mod Organizer, I use Vortex, so I'm a little lost. Once I save the Patch I cant find any BSA or anything since I Vortex doesn't appear to do that. Do I need to manually extract the BSA and if so, how do I do that?

Thanks so much for this! couldn't find anything anywhere else considering patching is such a common thing, and this makes points on things I would overlook such as disabling/moving world objects instead of deleting. Just to clarify, did you tick both the conflicting mods to load as plugin files and have the patch.esp as the active mod? I'm trying to make a compatibility mod for my Dawnstar conversion mod and Wares of Tamriel which adds a ship to the vanilla harbourside. My objects and theirs clip of course, and I am hoping to use your turorial to move the Wares of Tamriel ship to another part of my harbour where it won't clip. Thanks again so much, i'd be pretty clueless without this and i'm sure the same goes for many others

Yeah this is a bit strange, after I follow the steps of the video (having ticked Wares of Tamriel and City of Dawnstar to load as plugin files and the patch to load as the active file), i move the boat from wares to a new location and save. Loading in game though, it is still in the same place as before. I checked the Esp was definitely activated so just to be sure i closed CK and reopened it (again loading both mods as plugins and the saved patch as the ESP). But when it reloads in CK the boat is still in the same place as before also, as if it hasn't saved the change at all? any help here would be amazing thank you!

I have another question. Once you have your selected mods rendered in the object window, is there a way to only view the objects from a specific mod. Like kind of like hide the other mods objects for a moment?

Oh one other question. Can moving things around for compatibility affect other mod nav meshes for npcs? How do I see the nav meshes so I don't screw them up?

it can depending on what you're moving. if you're moving an entire building with navmeshes then yes you will have to move both. press M to show markers and you will see the navmeshes

Thank you for the video. How do you make the patch in ESL instead of ESP? Or is it automatically an ESL once you save it and exit CK

Sure thing! I'll make a tutorial on it. It's done in SSE edit, load all modules, click the mod you wish to ESL-ify, double click record flags, select ESL, exit & it will save.

How do you configure MO2 to launch CreationKit? Did the process automatically add the files we patch as master files in the .patch file?

Modify executables > add title: creation kit > Binary: skyrim special edition/creation kit.exe > start in: steamapps/common/skyrim special edition
