Thank you for the nice Video! The turning on and off of various beat repeats with one knob is really cool! Can this be done with any midi controller? Or is that a Push-thing? ❤

I'm guessing it's a parallel chain of beat repeats set to diff values. The macro knob is assigned as an on/off switch to each one...

Can anyone point the way to a tutorial (or three) that explains how to get your claps to sound like the intro song?

its a couple of short claps that are eq'ed quite harshly and slightly off-set with each other, then resampled as one

I use Ableton to DJ with and whilst this is informative, it's not really a very good example of how to use the DAW for it.

@@interaktiveaudio well it's pretty vague tbh - we get a loose overview, but we can't see specifically what he's doing during his performance beyond pushing some buttons. We need to see the laptop screen. What's actually going on behind the button pushing? And what's his modular set-up? What are the elements of his patch? I suspect the course would be hugely instructive, but we're not going to become experts like David just by watching this video. That's kinda the point though - to get us to sign up & do the course. If it was nearer home I'd go for it.

@@Skiamakhos got it. you right but I think was not meant for this but to show they have a good teacher who knows what is doing in practice not only in theory and this is what matters in Music

it was a 90 min masterclass, where i did go into much detail about what i was using and how. hopeful there will be a longer cut at some time
