The Hobbit house was my favorite! I also loved the circle entryway and fountain area. One of my favorite places to visit is the Biltmore house and its gardens that were designed by Frederick Law Olmstead. I would like to visit the Garden of Gethsemane, Jerusalem, and the garden of P. Allen Smith at his home Moss Mountain, Arkansas.

Danielle, thank you for taking us on these peaceful garden walks. I live 15 minutes from New Hope and didn’t know about Paxton. My friends and I went to Chantecleer in September based on your recommendation, and we LOVED it!!

Thank you for the beautiful garden tour. I never would have been able to see this beautiful garden without your tour. I'm in a wheelchair. I have MS and it's obviously not wheelchair friendly but thanks to people like you I get to see so many beautiful things❤

Thank you for sharing this. My favorites were Monet inspired garden and the hobbit house. I was also excited to see the Beautyberry as I just planted one this year. From my experience, I'm 59 YO, when something makes me uncomfortable, there's a reason. Trust your gut and don't question your sensitivity. On my garden bucket list would be Great Dixter.

My favorite garden is Ocean Shores in Charleston, Oregon (near Klamath Falls) on the Oregon Coast. It is about eight hours away from me so I don't get to visit often but it has something in all four seasons. They do Christmas lights in December. There's kind of a secret gate in the back you can walk down a path to the Pacific ocean. It's my idea of heaven.

On my bucket list to visit for several years was the home of Bunny Williams. I was fortunate enough to get tickets to see her home and property this year!! It was so stunning!! It exceeded my expectations. Bunny was there, greeting all of the attendees for the Garden Conservancy Open Days. She was so warm and welcoming to all! I visited 14 gardens this year, and last year as well. I don't think any garden will be able to match the atmosphere of Bunny's garden.

Shows how when the summer season is winding down, there is still wonderful color and beauty in a garden. Very well maintained, thanks for taking us along on your visit. Love the Hobbit House and those graceful trees next to it. Also not fond of the Egyptian sculptures but art appeals to many in different ways.

Hi Danielle, lol no I wouldn't put a macaroon statue in my garden, but it was fun to see it in the garden at Paxon Farm. What a wonderful creative peaceful place to tour. You hit all the highlights! especially that hobbit house! what an awesome thing to stumble upon! didn't you just want to go knock on the door, lol. I agree the sphinx statues kind of creeped me out! but passing through the stone circle was worth it! I enjoyed all the water features, something about it gives me a tranquil feeling too. Thank you for this much needed fall garden interest tour, as I am still clinging onto the last bit of summer for as long as I can! 😍

Oh, that was so pleasant! Thank you for taking us along. I went to Butchart Gardens in British Columbia many years ago and I would love to return again. It was beautiful. And there is a garden that my daughter has talked about for 10 years in England, where she lives now. I look forward to seeing that and many other English gardens when I next visit. I totally agree with Michel's comment; you are so gentle and dear like a beloved friend or relative. I'm inspired by your videos and am enjoying creating a garden up here in the Olympic Peninsula of Washington. I will be taking things I've enjoyed and learned from you with me. Have a blessed and wonderful Christmas!

Thank you Danielle, that was a fantastic tour. I recently learned about a garden called ‘Les Jardins quatre vents” in Quebec (Canada) after seeing a Netflix special about it called “The Gardener”, not sure if it’s available to watch in the US but if it is, you’ll love it. The gardens are about 8 hour drive from me but I’m going to try and get tickets for next summer, they only open it up to visitors 3 days each year!

I love moments of art throughout gardens, big and small. I, personally, have started an art walk along the fence that is behind my narrow shade garden that is created by bottom limbed cedar trees. This allows the wall of art to be easily visible before the canopy fills out. I am hoping to tour the Christmas lights at Kitty Coleman Woodland Gardens this December. It really is beautiful, the gardens are also filled with driftwood art created from the ocean beach nearby.
