I decided to try the Creative Sound Blaster Z dedicated sound card in the hope of getting better sound quality from my headphones than integrated Realtek ALC1150. Unfortunately the result was disappointing
If you're covering anything with sound, please make sure you have decent recording sound. All that background sound is distracting. As others stated, make a script beforehand. Overall I give your review a 5/7
I don't have the cracking problem from mine, no way you can't reach the same bass with the EQ. You can reach insane levels with it. I also have the same asus realtek onboard as you now, and it's absolute shyte compared to the SBZ. like damn your ears are broken, because the onboard's bass output is sooooo flat.
uummmmm ,1 core procesor uummm, 256 ram, uuumm,,uummm. bro i know how hard is to avoid conduct patterns (and video show us how often we fall into them). some one made the same comment i did to you "in the first lines" then i noticed how much i was repeating some words.. i decided to have ballzz and respect for audience, mother nature and my self by editing them in post (fading, cutting, etc, etc) around video 5 i decided to be present,to observe my self and avoid them. as editing them was a pain. hope you do the same thing "for your self" and also next time instead of just rantting, make a honest review of the products. if you are going to rant. at least tag title the video. (product vs product just rantting or bitching). because at the end you did nothing bro.
I realise this video is a little old now. But have to say, I had issues for a long time with my SB X-FI Xtreme card. But after some recent fiddling with the Creatives property settings I was able to get much clearer and crisper sound. Creatives drivers are a bit tempremental mind (install manually). But have to say the ambient sound is better than my onboard RealTek, as mine were listenable but awful by comaprison.
even linus still use a sound card (xonar escence?) really i cant understand why some people cant find any difference in the sound quality of onboard vs dedicated, not only quality also how many elements are present in the sound, gaming for example... heroes of the storm? even cheapo games like elsword?
im running a board that has the 1150 by realtek. the 1150 is a pure trash codec in my opinion. the bass is extremely muddy and not deep at all. the equalizers are also trash. i hate the 1150 so much that i choose to use microsofts default sound driver that installs with windows and pair it with fxsound (dfx audio enhancer) and the sound is much better. realtek doesnt allow u to customize your sound through windows at all compared to the microsoft default driver. u cannot right click your sound icon, bring up the properties and find any bass boosting options in the advanced settings, unlike the microsoft driver. bass boost is a huge thing for me and can turn a poop pair of headphones into a bass machine and the microsoft sound driver allows this, realtek does not. and for the life of me i have no idea why a sound card from creative would sound shittier than anything from realtek. must be a bad card, your os is being a dick or user error. not pointing the finger at you but this card should blow away the 1150 codecs. hell i'd even pop the card in and see if i can run default windows drivers on it before messing with the official drivers to test things on. the default windows drivers are pretty good, but the best sound card ive owned was a 50 dollar soundblaster from like 10 years ago. so im sure these high dollar cards would have a large variety of bass boost settings etc. like the microsoft ones but i wouldn't know.
Kid please make a script man..... Then fix your mic.... Then do some research before you do this? This destroyed any but any video you post if you want to take your self serious.... Your face was not even on the cam so this make it allot easier than it needs to be. And every one knows that the alc chip of Realtek (above 1150 off course are really really good) compare to the Soundblaster Z.
