so very sorry dude, but may I have your guidance, your attention, and your reply, PLEASE. may I ask is the T6 ziisound or that the T6 series II better???? which is better because they seems the same, beside I saw the size of the speakers cones for T6 Ziisound is slight bigger by 2cm. but in terms of subwoffer, T6 series II seems heavier, so, which is really more best quality in term of sounds and everything overall?
oh OK thanks Chen Ge. because after what my friend told me, I was actually kinda sad and scared.. and I did ask him about how he use, like is he use it daily, for movie for for gaming, how many hours when he use, and the volume of the speaker, and the subwoofer is it tune to full or default. how about you Chen ge? much appriciate if you can share how you use it? you use it daily? if is daily, how many hours? on movie or on gaming???? loud to the max for the volume on the speaker, and also your sub woofer how you tune??? hope you can share your experience please please..
Hi, do you know the difference between "Creative T6 Series II" and "Creative ZiiSound T6"? Both sets of speakers look identical to the eye but are called different things. Do you know which is newer?
Chen Ge Hi, I am not 100% sure but I think they are basically the same products with different names. I think the T6 Series II were released later though.
Hi thanks for the reply! I realized they don't look EXACTLY the same anymore. The satellite speakers of the "ZiiSound T6" are slightly bigger in size. Ziisound t6 would probably be the "series I". As I stay in Singapore, where Creative originated from, I realized the ZiiSound t6 are not being sold anymore on their web store. But the t6 series II is being sold. So maybe this one u have here is newer. Too bad, I've gotten the ZiiSound t6 already...... I hope the sound quality isn't too far below that of the series II.
Hi Chen he, may I ask if your ziisound is still working or not until now? my friend just told me that this ziisound is not lasting and the problem is that I just bought a set of this ziisound. he said his ziisound last him a total of 18 months. and how about yours T6 ziisound??? how long have you been using your T6 ziisound??
I bought the sonos play 1 about 3 weeks ago with the one year free deezer but I am thinking about selling it already. The sound quality is pretty good at mid volume but any higher it basically hurts my ears because of the sound. The bass is also a big minus for me. Fortunately the resell value is around €175 so i'll only 'lose' €25 for one year free deezer. However I really need new speakers because of the play 1 i realised how mediocre my logitechs were. I saw these speakers are still on sale for €249 so i al considerig them. I don't know what music you listen to sebas but how do they sound on a high volume? The genres I listen are mostly: dance, house, hip hop, deep house and electro. Are these T6s a good option to consider for me or not? And yes i have to agree with you, that chrome finish looks awesome!
Jop Habraken A shame to hear that you don't like the Play1, I still have not ordered one despite being very tempted a lot of the time. The T6 are pretty nice, especially for 249€ and the audio quality in my opinion is also good at high volumes (i usually don't turn them up too much though). I would recommend ordering them and see if they work for you, the Creative store fortunately gives you 30 days to return them for a refund.
Still got my good old Creative 5.1 speakers for like 8 years. But next one would be Harman Kardon Soundsticks 3. T series are quite expensive unless u're getting some kind of discount for them. Creative and Logitech were the best for their price and quality back in the day but now their price has increased and they are not premium at all, just a descent PC speakers that's all.
The Harmon Kardon stuff sounds awesome, but they look very out of place in most modern tech set ups. They fit absolutely perfectly with the iMac G3's up to the PowerMac G4's or something but they just look silly next to a modern iMac or something lol.
Alex P For 249€ I feel like the T6 are definitely a good deal, 399€ is too much though without a doubt. In the past logitech definitely made amazing speakers as well.
alright, how about if I use the aux line out from my device to the volume control poll aux in, (the round rubbler controller) or connect my device USB out, into the series 2 subwoofer USB in, do you think it's possible that I can connect via USA, or by aux? I mean connect TWO sets of T6 series 2 wish USB cable, or via AUX, instead of connect two sets via Bluetooth????
Is the problem with not functioning OS X keyboard controls fixed by now? I have a USB connected DAC and can control that through OS X just fine. So don't think that's an USB problem but rather something specific to this speaker set.
Hey sebas I can't reply to your answer to my question (youtube fix this please?!). But yeah I know you almost bought the play 1 and let me tell you this. It's a great speaker if you don't care about stereo sound (unless you buy 2 of them of course) or bass or pumping the volume. The sound is just amazing for almost everything but bassy songs. The mids and lows are really good. I just dont like it has no line-in. the fact that I listen bass-heavy music like house and dance makes me want to sell it. You know sonos offers the 100 day money back guarentee right? (Unfortunately I did'nt buy mine from the sonos site but the mediamarkt) You could buy one and try it out for a couple of weeks and return it if you dont like it.
For goodness sake can anyone here PLEASE tell me which is louder and better between the Creative T6 Ziisound vs the Creative T6 Series II ?????? I am sure these two models sure have some different in terms of sound. as from I learn from local agent and learned that the T6 Ziisound is louder thunder sound, while the T6 Series II will CAP when you try to switch the volume louder, is that truth and how you guys here experience, if anyone out here have got the T6 Ziisound, please help and reply, million thanks and God bless!

OK I got this t6 series 2 and I thought of getting one more. so my question is, is that possible to merge two sets of t6 series 2 to my blue tooth projector and play the movie sound out onto the two sets t6 series 2, do you think is possible????? does two sets of t6 series 2 connect onto my blue tooth projector AT THE SAME TIME??????
I had the Creative T3 and they were quite bad. The satellite speakers were too quiet/didn't have enough details (something they might have fixed now with the "two-per-satellite" solution) and the bass was extremely muddy. Hopefully they've fixed these issues now since the T3.
Adam Rohdin I fortunately have not had any issues with the audio quality on my T3s. It did take a while to get the subwoofer to a good all around setting though.
Creative stuff has been a bit hit and miss for years. Sometimes you get meh, sometimes you get pretty damn good. Stay clear of their sound cards though, they're meh to the extreme and their drivers are an absolute utter joke. They used to be top of the line but they've not had that title for a good while now.
I have several questions.... Why is this marked as "5.1 surround system"? When clearly there are only two main speakers? And why is it listed as wireless when the speakers needs to be connected through wires? I'm looking for a wireless system where I can charge my rear speakers. I want to attach them to my chair so that's why I want to get rid of the cables as much as possible..
+Kim Rene Mossige when connecting with usb to yuor computer , theoreticly it will create some kind of " virtual sorround" kinda like 5.1 because both speakers can be rotated. and i guess the wireless part is just for the bluetooth connection part
