With glowsticks, bending the thing breaks a tube allowing the reactants to mix together. In that case, through a series of events, light is produced. Reactions can also release heat (fire being the obvious example, but not just fire). So you could have a similar mechanism for the popcorn, but I'm just not sure what reaction would work best... it'd need to release an enormous amount of heat, not be destructive, etc. so I'd say it's technically possible but possibly tricky to do.
You know how opening lithium ion batteries causes them to catch fire(You should check out some videos on it xD) You can literally use lithium ion to create a reaction that with super heat the popcorn to the point they pop 😼 or use radiation like that of nuclear power plants 😹

@@raptormaverick4774 Nintendo joy-con are the controllers that slide into your switch. Drift in joy-con is a fairy common occurrence that make your character or in game camera move on it's own. It affects the analog sticks and it's a real pain to replace them. Personally I own 2 pairs of joy-cons with drift. I believe there's a lawsuit currently against Nintendo about this issue.

My ideas for inventions: 1: A machine where you can search through your dreams and continue them. 2: a pill that can make you fall asleep in 30 seconds 3: a book where you can communicate to dead relatives or other ghosts 4: a book that if you write down a question, the book will answer truthfully

My joycon don't have drift I'm one of the lucky once Edit: they've since started drifting, but thankfully I found some third party ones that work much better. Third party controllers are usually ass so I was surprised
Imagine if they put like hand warmers somewhere in the lining of the paper bag, so when you crack it or whatever it starts heating up, but it might not reach the temperature required to pop the corn ._.

Not possible unless you can find a way to cheaply make a chemical glowstick type device that heats up to 355 degrees Fahrenheit that then also doesn't burn the ever loving crap out of whoever is holding it. While also not leaking such a volatile chemical mixture in the event of a catastrophic failure.
My sisters switch joycons had a drift, and it was just terrible. Nintendo never responded to us after six months of emails, so we went to an independent shop that fixed them. Cheap and effective.
Invention idea; ai sorta thingy that track all the ingredients and food you have in your kitchen. That way, you don't have to ransack your entire house while looking for one thing. It would also alert you if something was getting low Or I guess you could do it yourself Idea 2#; A buzzer thing that sticks to your hand, and buzzes you every time youre about to *not * put something away. So instead of putting your sweater on your bed, you can put in in the closet like you never remember to do. I feel like there's might be kinda useful
I would invent clothes that can change temperature, kinda like heated blankets except there’s also a cooling function so you can wear oversized comfy clothes even when it’s really hot
