Mid June 2023 Cape York trip, we hit the Creb. Now Decimated by Cyclone Jasper - closed for good :(
There was a 4 day window where we had good weather and The 71km Creb track was open. We were lucky those days lined up with our Cape York trip. There seemed to be carnage either side of those opened days with people getting stuck. Sadly there will only be a few videos of this track from 2023 due to a lot of closures and the severe damage Cyclone Jasper did closing it, feared for good at this point.
April 2024 The south CREB has not even been looked at, let alone touched, it is impassable from the southern side, with the road collapsing into the Daintree River, landslides, and endless trees, vine and wait-a-while covering it following Cyclone Jasper. You will not be able to access it, no matter how good you think your vehicle and skills are.
