Please check with your bank as per RBI guidelines they can't put interest upto 2days after due date, i have paid many times 1or 2days after due date with my HDFC CREDIT CARD PAYMENT never got any late payment charges

Only issue with saving n buying is that we dont know what products will get repair. Better save 50% of electronic items you need at home - tv Washing refrigerator ac etc. So lets say these costs 1lakh, you have to save 50-60k and buy products using cc and pay off same day, so you get reward points and 0 bill end of month. I get 500 free petrol every month since i use cc for all payments and pay off same day. I'll have 0 cc debt end of month

I have been using credit cards for the last 24 years. But only one time did I get caught by paying the down payment to buy a car, I couldn't repay them by the due date. I got my mom's jewels in a bank and paid them to avoid huge interest and fines. Nowadays, I use a credit card based on my account balance and never go beyond that. This is the formula for credit cards.

Vicky as you said, use your card and pay the amount on or before due date for them it is very good and you have forgot to mention here that if you are using your card properly and you will be rewarded with points to the extent of your usage and the same points will be redeemed for vouchers / cash.

I have been using most valued cards since 1995. MC, Visa, Diners and Amex. Owned Foreign banks in India snd in Overseas. It is worth to have credit card for professional usage and development. Its hard to use effectively the credit cards.
