I was denied for the Journey Autograph card because of too many new cards. I tried to do a product change and was told my WF I couldn't product change to the Journey card.
Not worth a PC for it given the $600 in my opinion. I'd just come back to it down the road if you have a period of not applying in some time. Interesting data point on no PC option tho
Comes in handy if you need to buy a ton of gift cards. I maxed three of them in February when I needed new appliances. Aside from that, I hardly use one of them now that I have so many 5x cards
I'm 1-1 this year. Denied by Wells Fargo for the Attune card. Approved by US Bank of all banks for the Kroger card. Like you, I'm pretty well set up for getting 5x back on all of my spending. I'm sitting back and waiting for the update on the Amex Gold and the eventual changes to the PlayStation Visa as the Sony rewards program is shutting down at the end of the year. Decent chance those two cards go bye bye. Probably nixing the Southwest Visa as well. Only adding to the arsenal if I get a targeted offer on a card I could find use for.
Question #2 - @11:09 you show Citi Custom Cash #1 and #2 from 22. Were they not offering a bonus then? Wife and I both go our own in Apr 2023; each I'm showing a $200 SUB. Follow up on this - did you do a product change to get the 2nd card? What did you change from, a Citi Double Cash or something else?
