I listien to this every day and yet this is still a master piece and it never gets boring hearing those gabriel voice lines truely epic as a ultrakill fan
everything else is dark magician girl no offence but that does not interest me as much as this ... wait no its also got Gwen from total drama island a lot of it hmm i feel like i got an idea on what type of content you majorly focus on this is an anomaly for your channel
Gabriel from Ultrakill, genuinely one of my favorite characters ive ever seen in general, i HIGHLY recommend looking into the game in some sort of extent because it really really good@@givividivinci
The worst part of Gabriel's hatred is that V1 doesn't care. It wasn't programmed to care. The quips, the insults, the threats, they don't stick. All V1 wants is fuel. All V1 cares about is fuel. The ones who deserve Gabriel's hate have been erased from existence. The makers of V1 have likely already suffered their second consumption. The mad sprint ever downward for fuel, for sustenance, is all V1 concerns itself with. These things outside itself that assign it reason, emotion, they anthropomorphize a robot at their own risk. In doing so, they believe an unthinking automaton can be reasoned with, talked down, cajoled, insulted, threatened. V1 cares not for Gabriel's hatred. Only for the angel's blood. The calculus of V1's decisions were made long ago. Live. Kill. Refuel. In that calculus, you only exist as one of two variables: mobile fuel canister, and obstacle.
@@THExRISERI mean, who isn’t gonna be pissed when your older siblings steals your arm, throws a coin into your face. Then just dips.. I understand your point though, you can visibly see V2 get mad when you don’t fight him.
@@THExRISER V1 probably doesnt actually have the ability to register emotion even though V2 can because V2 was made to keep the peace. V1 was made during the war, for the war, by the war. V1 was in the prototype stage but its heavily implied that he was made essentially to counter *every* single machine that was made before it, V1 likely has a high problem solving capibility and if having emotions helped with getting fuel then he could probably pull it off, it just turns out killing everything is the best method
Man, I love how V1 is a being created for war in a world where humanity is so advanced that it can go head to head with the wardens of all creation and come out unbroken. Just makes me wonder what kind of war it was originally built for.
Well you see it’s not just a machine, it’s you, confirmed that kinda like Undertale, you have the ability to respawn as Sisphus on your respawn asks for more knowing you have died. You are a sisphyian task to beat for you are inevitable, us gamers stop at nothing to win, spending hours perfecting the art of killing for a rank.
@@RiffSilverthe1andonlyPretty sure that’s more of just Hell putting you back together for more entertainment. Remember, Hell itself is sentient, sadistic, and very knowledgeable of humanity’s technology. If it wanted to, it could reassemble almost every machine in existence and pit them against each other gladiator-style. To it, all of life, natural or otherwise, is just a toy to play with.
Guys look in the description, the song was made by Astron Animations (credits song for my death but im the final boss), Buegs just added the ultrakill sound effects.
@@RetroX66 Credits song for my death by vivivivivi is the orginal. Credits song for my death but im the final boss by Astron is the remix of the orginal. Credits song for Gabriel's death by Buegs is the edit of the remix of the original.
The fight begins much like Gabe II's usual fight, but instead of contemplating himself after losing, he pushes V1 back and sets up a barrier between them. When he's finished he says "Show me what you were made for!" and destroys the arena. Both drop into an open area descending down. V1 is sliding down this slope (akin to V2 II), and Gabriel is floating just out of range, sending in barrages of spears and other attacks. He is bleeding profusely, V1 only needs to outlast him. It becomes a bullet hell for a moment until the slope ends. They fall into a pit of spikes, only for gabriel to beam both of out. They are falling still, now from the lofty cloud filled skies of Heaven. Gabriel turns to wild slashing trying to kill V1 in a last ditch effort. V1's systems recognize the sheer height and disable slamming, preparing for impact. The two duel in the skies until they crash down to pearlescent stone brick, now stained with the blood of the ex-archangel. V1 takes Splendor and Justice, taking no break to ponder the rubble that was once Gabriel.
I can imagine the last few seconds of falling having Gabriel say one last line, that being "Machine, it would appear my time has come. Despite everything..... you were a worthy opponent. _splatters like a dropped watermelon_ " or just "F#$& YOU MACHI- *cracks like an egg* "
The only way I can see this game ending is with one last fight between you and Gabriel. He is the last living thing in Hell, his blood is the last V1 will ever get. And that spark is fading. Whoever wins still loses.
Order vs. Entropy, divine purpose vs. blood drunk chaos. And when the former finally fades, the latter is soon to follow. Gabriel ebraces the freedom of battle with his encroaching death, and runs rampant with the tick of his clock, burning like a star and when his blood finally runs out, the victor is soon to follow
Reminds me of my desperate hope for the Act III Gabriel fight: that he won't have a health bar. He'll have a _countdown._ You see, Gabe's down to his last few minutes, before the light of God that animates his empty body finally completely sputters out. And he wants to spend those precious minutes doing what he loves more than anything: *Tearing you to pieces.* All you have to do is survive, outlast his full-force onslaught as for once in his pitiful life Gabriel fights for himself and _only_ himself, until he runs out of time, and anticlimactically collapses dead to the floor.
It's all fun and games until a bright light floats out of his body, an orchestral, calm, version of "the death of god's will" starts playing, and a healthbar with the "GABRIEL PRIME" starts fading in at the top of the screen
@@negativeiquser5295 like he actually had so much of an impact on the world and was so well known, adored, and feared throughout all of heaven and hell that he just immediately forms into a prime soul and without armor or a weapon, he just squares up.
What makes it depressing if you think of it in V1's perspective is that V1 won't care, it would be saying [RIVAL 2 ELIMINATED] and he wouldn't have any doubt or fear to what it has done to the hierarchy of Heaven and Hell
This song introduced me to Ultrakill. I know the actual song itself isn't in the game but I looked up stuff about this game and I am gonna get it soon!
bro litteraly the same, it hyped me up so bad so i wanna buy it but cant rn. But i will ! Been a long time i've seen the game but wasnt intrested but now this music made me feels so much things i've been gone throught and this made me really feel something
And the sweet taste of freedom, the wonderful fire of rivalry, of knowing that your last moments will be akin yo a collapsing star, burning brightest of all moments before its cataclysmic end
"Machine, I will cut you down" "Break you apart" "Splay the gore of your profane form across the stars" "I WILL GRIND YOU DOWN UNTILL THE VERY SPARKS CRY FOR MERCY" "MY HANDS SHALL RELISH, ENDING YOU HERE AND NOW" . 0:56 The pure hatred represented in this lines and voice is crazy...
*V1 slid through yet another set of doors, just as he has done many times before. However, this one felt... different somehow. He stopped sliding, and looked around the dark, empty room. He was about to exit the room when the lights suddenly turned on. V1 was blinded by the sudden flash, and it took him a moment to adjust his optics to see in the room. When they finally did, V1 was met with yet another appearance of the archangel, Gabriel.* "Machine." Gabriel started. "You have singlehandedly torn down everything I, and many other built. Eons of blood, sweat, and tears put to waste. Any other time, I would have fought with a bloodlust never before seen in the history of this universe. But instead, I want to thank you. You have opened my eyes to something so much better, *freedom.*" *The angel floated down to face the bloodthirsty machine, who was only waiting for the fight to begin. Gabriel stared into his single, emotionless eye, and chuckled. The chuckled slowly turned to an outburst of laughing, which was cut short by the angel coughing. Looking down at his hands, Gabriel saw blood.* "...My time is almost up, Machine. And with my soul finally free of it's duties, I have only but one request." *Gabriel unsheathed his swords, both covered in the blood of the council. He pointed his sword, splendor at the Machine who had changed everything. Under his helmet, he was smiling manically.* "Let us battle, once more. For the final time." Edit: Wtf how do y’all like this so much this was my first time writing something like this 😭😭 thanks for the encouragement y’all, ‘preciate it.
what I love about this fight is that since the divinity of Gabriel is falling and his faith vanishes he starts to see himself not that disconnected from everybody else and since V1 already beat him once he for the first time actually feels like he has a challenge and an actual fun toe to toe fight, he never knew that feeling before and it's ironic that a machine that he despises so much because it's not even mortal is the one giving him that revelation in his last hours of life
Open letter for this community: Thank you for keeping this trend going, it's really a bliss and a bless to hear every variation of the song, i don't know what it is if the base melody or the customization of every one of you make but damn if it slaps hard every time, literally keep it going because it's really amazing to hear new artist have a go every time it does pop up in my feed. You are amazing.
If you don't know anything about Ultrakill, this song is about a man who lose at a Casino or a Gacha game addict who lose it all in a rate up banner. This is indeed peak.
I've always been a fan of indie games, but I'd never heard of Ultrakill until I heard this song. It is literally the reason I purchased the game, and it is fantastic! I enjoy going all out with my gameplay, and this actually satisfied my desire.
There is definitely someone who found ultrakill from this video (I think one of the top comments doesn’t know ultrakill/gianni so yeah) and honestly, this music makes me wish I found ultrakill from this.
This edit alone made me buy Ultrakill on the first available sale. Religiously replaying all the levels for a personal satisfactory result. 10/10. Thank you for this mix
Imagine becoming god's soldier to murder the machine And and a sentient go pro starts throwing pennies at you while screaming GO WHITE BOY GO At a deafening volume
What i love about Gabriel is that the first time you fight him he gets mocked and rejected. Then the second time, Gabriel changes and instead acknowledging his people he chooses to defy it….
This makes me wonder about what Act III Gabe’s fight is gonna be like since Imperfect Hatred showed him going against God’s Will. Killing the heavenly council is only part of it; I feel like there’s also a parallel to him “getting a taste” of what V1 experiences. The act of eating blood is forbidden in the bible, so him tasting his own blood and sensing “relief” from it could mean a lot of things. The implications are vague, so idk how to interpret it clearly, but if he was laughing in the latter half of his Act II boss fight, it’s likely he’s began to enjoy fighting and “shedding blood” (finding pleasure in violence). We might see a corruption-type of boss fight since he’s committed a sin that lands him right into treachery, and because of the “Hell is Alive” arg lore.
Bro, I listen to this song and then I just take a step back and realize holy shit. This is how I’m thinking in the middle of a match with someone who’s actually on an equal skill level with me, just got omega humbled
Wouldn't it be more accurate to call this prelude to Gabriel's death rather than what its called now? Cause like he isnt dying here it just sets up the countdown to his death since he kills the will of god giving him 24 hours to live
As a REAL ULTRAKILL player this should honestly be in the game but I wish act 3 could just come out LIKE HAKITA GAMES PLS STOP WORKING AND JUST RELEASE IT PLEASE
I genuinely couldn't click off the video bruh, everytime I thought it was just gonna be the same tune for 5 mins but everytime I went to click off it would ramp up and at some point I was jammin out to this, good job
Never thought how hard the voice lines were to be honest. Gabriel sounds insane as opposed to the player (V1) not giving any shit and only care about time, kill + style
