that's because when you spray it on the first few times your nose gets used to it and goes nose blind. after a while your nose picks it up again smelling stronger
@@antoniocarrillo4113it goes beyond that with pretty much any Aventus batch after ‘19. Creed pushes those bottles out faster then they can macerate them, it’s a common occurrence for consumers to spray Aventus til the liquid reaches the shoulders before allowing it to macerate in solitude for a few months.
@@alienwarex51i3I strongly suspect that maceration is a hoax. There is already some oxygen in every unsprayed fragrance bottle, so I don’t see how introducing more of the same oxygen changes the fragrance composition in any way.
I’ve been wearing creed since 2013 & I can say every bottle that I get always smells different.. sometimes it make you think it’s trash 🗑️.. but I came to realize is when the bottle get air in it especially if you at the halfway mark . That’s when all the notes be hitting .. the batch don’t mean nothing
It was a mistake on the manufacturing. It should be black but Creed didn’t want to waste all the bottles so eventually the letters will be black again.
If ambroxan has a smell, I couldn't tell you what it smells like. But it makes my nose go super blind, so I can tell it's there by the sensation and nasal black out.
Yes! I keep trying to tell people that the F batches are much improved, at least most are. I have F000913 and I get 8 hours out of it. I know it’s not the 12 plus it once was, but stop listening to people telling you it doesn’t last anymore. It does.
Just got Avetus two weeks ago, totally disappointed, this brand becomes kind of scam, charge too much money and want give nothing, I need to spray 15 sparys to barely smell on me, Creed should change their name to Greed, I appreciate your review very realistic I agree that scent profile is very unique and incomparable, thank you
Thanks for watching! Spray out about 5 ml out of a fresh batch bottle, and put it away in the dark closet for 3 to 6 months. Then try again. Good luck! Thanks for sharing your experience
I understand why people purchase clones. For me however, I feel the perfumer put all the hard work and dedication on making a fragrance so he or she deserves my support. Clone houses put in minimal work and never truly meet the same scent while using inferior raw materials. For me personally, I find it highly disrespectful if I were to buy a clone. That’s my perspective and I do not frown upon those who do, just my perspective. Now with Aventus, i find the F batches are more bergamot in the opening than the 2020 batch I have. But the dry downs are nearly identical that I can barely tell a difference and only if I’m constantly testing. I prefer my F batch currently.

Tania, great video! I enjoyed the comprehensive review. The video and background are straightforward, which is nice. You definitely have the potential to become a big channel. One suggestion I have is to aim for shorter videos, around 10-15 minutes, keeping everything concise. Adding timestamps would also be helpful. Additionally, it would be wonderful if you personalized your reviews from your perspective as a woman. For example (Time Stamps): Introduction Perfume composition/ Notes Perfume sillage/performance Verdict Outro Keep up the fantastic work!
This perfume is famous for going missing after an hour or 2. But as I have tested... It lasts for a crazy long time (Yes, my bottle is a metal cap F batch). It goes past the 12 hour mark on me but, If I spray it nearer to my nose... It becomes Houdini. Best way to enjoy this stuff is spray away from the nose. preferably in the elbows and behind the neck. You'll enjoy it for a crazy long time 👍
I love Aventus so much but my batch literally lasts like 3 hours and has no projection it makes me so sad c uz it was so pricey and i was rly looking forward to it. Love the smell but those are just such huge negatives so i just bought layton and percival haha PDM is the bombbb
If your batch is less then 6 months old, just let it sit another 4 to 6 months, make sure you spray out at least 5, maybe even 10 ml. Store it in the closet, and wait. It will get better
@@Fragaddiction So its like wine haha. Thank you for that info!! Its been 5 months so i guess ill get to fully enjoy it during summer time haha. Im hoping this works i appreciate ur info!!
@@FragaddictionMaceration is a hoax , fragrances are alcohol and aroma chemicals, NOT WINE. They can only deteriorate with time and will not improve. How big is your creed paycheck?
@@smducky980 i think so but not 100% sure. ive only tried it on once since then so cant fully say but from what i remember it def got better i think. I'll try it again this week and let you know the full result tho! Im hoping the same thing happens to m,y parfum de marly frags but i think time def does make niche better cuz from what i remmeber the aventus was a bit stronger and louder
I just got this too and the bottle looks different (see the creed word without the black colour). I got this from the duty free but I feel it is kinda off.
A agree with you when there’s a green nuance to it. Aventus is funny cause it can smell like so many different things. Depends on if you sniff it fast. Or sniff it slow. If it’s hot/cold outside. At times it’s fruity. At times it’s sparkly. At times it’s grassy. At times it’s dark and warm. No clone can ever compare to the refined natural ingredients that Creed uses for Aventus. Synthetic cheap clones make me feel bad, especially on hot days. Where Aventus and other niche natural perfumes make me feel goood!
Aventus was best when it first came out. Any real Aventus users know that the first original batches use to have a greenish color to it. And it was something that no cologne company could copy . It use to last all day but now Aventus today is a joke. Aventus absolu is the top dog now . 10:07
Please, please, please...review Absolu Aventus. I will not buy it until I hear from you. It's summer (I live in LA) so I wear Aventus Cologne on rotation with Ormonde Jayne Montabaco Intensivo. Love and Respect.
@@Fragaddiction I found it. And read it--I don't think I'll be buying it. Main reason...you said the dry-down it's a little on the sweet side. And that's a big no-no for me; I wear an uniform. Best of luck to you.
Hi, I personally own a lot of expensive frags , I’ve always wanted Aventus but there’s so many bad reviews atm,, I have tried it and I love the scent profile, honestly is it still worth purchasing today ?! What sort of longevity could I expect to achieve with todays batches. Thankusomuch. X
If you have others of the same profile, especially niche, and you are happy, just try it in a small vile. Or even if you have an opportunity to go to store and spray it, and decide for yourself. Because the magic of Aventus is in the OPENING😊

I don't know, maybe i got lucky bottle when i bought mine last autumn from the duty free at the airport (and it cost only around 200 euros) cause contrary to the many recent complains about the longevity, it performs surprisingly well. If i use more than 3 sprays then it already chokes me it's so strong and lasts more than any other perfume i own. I'm not really familiar with batches, my bottle also has the transparent "Creed" inscription on it, not the black one (if this helps).
Wonderful review. Relaxed, informative and interesting. I've got a 10ml decant of a 2023 Aventus (it's a fruty batch too). Absolutely a fantastic fragrance. Just ruined by weaker and weaker batches and higher and higher prices. I also have a 100ml bottle of Aventus Cologne and a sample of Absolu Aventus. I prefer Aventus Cologne, as it has better preference then OG Aventus (on me at least). Also, more liked by women. Aventus is more liked by men.
Despite oversaturation via dupes and inspos, Aventus will always be niche to me simply because the scent profile orginated there. And I personally don't think the sheer quality of Aventus has been repeated. Even by other high quality niche takes on the scent. I sort of picture the other takes as screaming "anything you can do I can do better", while Aventus has a natural confidence that doesn't need to scream or compete but is simply what it is. Knowing it's the only one that can truly pull the sword out the stone. For me, that it is the original and blueprint of the others and not a copy of something else. Is one of the main reasons I'll still buy Aventus. I appreciate the details and points you make. I subbed btw:)
I am so disappointed with Creed. I don't know why they refuse to be consistent with their formula. Every batch seems to be diffferent and quality has been going downhill. Definitely not worth the price tag anymore. Doesn't project, performance is weak, smell great but what a shame man... Nice video Tania.
Agreed! Some people get anosmic to it though. Thanks for watching, check out my new video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4RFoHg8pgZ0.htmlsi=1UcfyAGB79f35jP4
I smelled L4222A01B it is the pineapple one, F00354 the molecule heavy one, S4221X01A this one is super pungent bergamot and pink pepper, even a tad powdery on top, the freshest of them, opening in the last one is the best
Definitely not the 2023 F batches are some of the best once u get air in the bottle it last all day also the F batch Aventus cologne last on skin 16hrs
@@AMGTTyou just made my day friendo. I owned a bottle of Aventus like 4 years ago, before I knew anything about fragrances or that a fragrance community even existed so batch codes meant nothing to me back then. But after hearing all the nonsense in receiving years I've held off buying a new bottle. Until today. I found a 50ml bottle on "sale" for $250 and I was confused why there was no batch code but there was a lot# (F000293). Glad to hear something positive about Creed aventus for once
