@@basketball3825not really. Creed even back then had a reputation for being a shitty overrated band. And justifiably so - Stapp was deep in addiction, and was always under the influence of something while performing the last couple of years before the band separated. I’m glad he’s doing much better now, but he ultimately was responsible for the bands tarnished reputation
No one remembers what life was like in the US during this game. This was what we needed as a country. After September 11th we were united and this was the Thanksgiving game right after that.
I, like all Americans, left this performance with a newfound sense that we could indeed win THE WAR ON TERROR...twenty years later and we can finally say: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.

I remember feeding our newborn son while watching the news as the Twin Towers came down, as the Pentagon was hit, and when we all learned about the heroism of the passengers on the plane that went down in Pennsylvania. I wasn't afraid because I knew this country could get through anything because we were a country that stuck together and helped each other out. We all loved our country and our fellow Americans. That little boy will be 24 years old in 11 days, and I can't believe how torn apart apart we are as a nation. Political ideology has separated all of us into little groups and tries to tell us we hate each other. They need us to in order to retain their power and feed their greed. We need to get back to where we were during this Super Bowl. We were a nation TOGETHER! We were a nation that loved our country and loved each other. We were free. We've let them segregate us from each other as they've built bars around our minds and use fear and hate to control us. It's in our power to stop it.
I miss simpler times. I was in 3rd grade when it happened. We had came in from PE and our teacher looked shook to the core and told us what happened and we watched the broadcast for a bit.
@@JShadow6661 I was in third grade too when this happened. I remember the entire school walked outside and said the pledge of allegiance as soon as it was on the news. We continued to watch the news afterwards.

I'm an Australian too (Melbourne) who found myself watching this after watching The Documentary about The Cowboys Cheerleaders. Who would have thought two Australians would end up watching this on the same day
