I was on the air at X101.5 and helped get them their first airplay, and conducted their first ever on-air interview . I eventually took their demo CD to radio stations in Daytona and Orlando, who also began playing My Own Prison, the rest is history
I was able to be on the summer of 99 cruise and the first night his voice was back! It was magic! Hoping it gets stronger they had to modify some of their performance the second night they played because of his voice.
Yeah! Awesome! It's hard when rehearsing for different versions for TV shows. Great job! Grew up listening to them as a teenager. Saw them several times before they were huge. Would like to see them again soon.
Creed is the reason I started playing guitar. Around that time, early 2000's, they were playing a big show on Sat. I saw Mark at a wet t shirt contest Sunday night. He was by himself, tall fella. I wanted to talk to him so bad but didn't. Still a cool experience
I remember the first time I heard "My Own Prison" in one of those carnival rides as a kid. Creed was a huge part of my childhood so I'm glad Scott's back and they're moving forward.
Scott has probably performed this song hundreds of times yet even he can make the mistake of coming in (or not coming in) at the wrong time. It happens even to the best of them!
The selfish fan in me hopes the guys ride out any contractual stuff and commitments they have then focus on Creed. They are too good, not to, and from what we have seen and heard... they are on top of their game and its incredible to see and hear after all the years apart. A new album at this stage of the game would be awesome.
